Mango is very clean and tidy. The owner and staff are very nice and full of humanistic care.

Kashta Nubian guest house met our expectations and Omar the owner welcomed us warmly offering transportation with his boat from one side to the other. Furthermore he was really helpful and gave us really good tips to explore the place. The guest house is located in a peaceful Nubian village where someone can relax. I really recommend this place.

Aswan people are hospitable, humble and generous and the host is no different. We went to the other side by ferry with my son to bring some medicine, he paid for our tickets.

Location is great, boat is accessible just few steps away, supermarket is next door, host is very helpful, kids likes cats roaming around.

One of the most magical parts of the experience was waking up to the smell of the delicious homemade breakfast, prepared with ingredients harvested directly from their own garden. Every meal felt like a celebration of care, simplicity, and love. The kindness of the family went far beyond expectations; they were incredibly thoughtful, generous, and attentive, always making sure we felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. Liked Everything, the host Abdula is nice and helpful, he upgraded my stay without any charges and gave me a free dinner too, nile view from the property looks amazing.its an excellent option for backpacker travellers.

This hostel is just about 3 weeks new when I stayed here. Biba, the friendly owner, went out of her way to make my trip to Aswan enjoyable. The photos and description of the place match with reality. There’s a sweet lady who cleans the entire place every day. To my delight, the windows are cleaned both inside and outside so guests can enjoy the view of the Nile. Thanks to Pajama Hostel, my first impression of Egypt has been good so far. This is a women-owned business that I’m happy to support.

What I liked about Awi Guest House was the personal touch and warm hospitality. The owner, Awi, went out of his way to make sure we felt comfortable and welcome—he even came to pick us up by boat, which was such a unique and special touch. Awi is not only friendly but genuinely cares about his guests, always checking in to ensure everything was perfect. The village was beautiful and fun to explore, with friendly locals who made us feel very welcome. Awi’s service was top-notch, and the breakfast he served each morning was delicious and fulfilling. It was a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, and I really enjoyed the overall experience. Awi truly made our stay memorable with his kindness and hospitality. The sunrise and sunset across the Nile River were absolutely stunning, adding a magical touch to the entire experience at Awi Guest House.

This is a great backpacker place. We met lots of people here with very different backgrounds and we found the double room very clean and comfortable. David and his family were very welcoming and provided a lot of info. The included breakfast and dinner was a very nice touch and on a few occasions saved us when we couldn't find places open during Ramadan. Highly recommend.

The host was amazing and friendly. He tried to give us detailed information about the exact location of the accommodation, contacting our taxi driver to make sure we could find the place, even though we arrived very late at midnight. He provided us with water and fresh mandarins every day. There were also some snacks to welcome us. What a super host and a kind person! The apartment is spacious and has almost all the facilities, so we had enough space and comfort for the whole family

Really enjoyed my stay here. The place was clean, comfortable, and had a very nice vibe. The host was super friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better. I’d definitely recommend it

The hotel is actually an apartment. The rooms are on the second floor. The decoration is very nice and the owner is also very nice. There is a kitchen and a bathroom, giving a feeling of being at home. All the eats and drinks are free . The boss is extremely nice. He has many rooms and you can store your luggage after checking out. The hotel is a bit hard to find. After following the directions and walking nearby, call the boss and he will come to pick us up. It's very quick. The pastries downstairs are very delicious. I recommend giving them a try. They are very cheap, 50 Ethiopian birr each.

This was a great experience overall. The schedule was well coordinated for the most part, the food was plentiful, and the room was comfortable. The staff was attentive and there was sufficient space and loungers by the cooling pool. We did have to pay for tickets to enter the various ruins and temples, but we were guided through them with English speaking guides. For the early morning tour of the Edfu Temple, we were loaded on horse and buggies, which was a fun way to navigate the morning scene. We liked that Omar and Enjy were easy to reach on WhatsApp and responsive to our questions. Slowly gliding down the scenic Nile was just lovely. As far as the tours go, they varied. The best one was with Nervien, the only woman we had guiding us. She had clear English and did not rush through the information as some of the others did. She checked the comprehension by saying, OK? With a short pause, which is important for a guide in order to provide space for clarifying questions. Nervien also provided some photos to preview what we would see in the tombs and then let us go inside on our own.

Cooperation staff and supportive.

Very good location and very quiet. It's about 7 minutes from the city center by car. We used Uber to get around easily. The best part was sitting on the terrace, watching the Nile and the beautiful islands — such a peaceful and scenic spot!"

The simplicity and clarity of everything

The apartment was new and clean, the breakfast was great and generous, and the host was very welcoming. One very practical thing is that the host sends you a ferry ticket for free when you first arrive. I do recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Rayan Nubian Guest House. Mohamed, Kareem, and the entire staff were exceptionally kind and helpful—truly among the loveliest people we met in Egypt. The rooms were clean and spacious, and all the facilities were well maintained and fully functional. Breakfast was varied and delicious, and Mohamed even prepared breakfast boxes for us when we left early for Abu Simbel. We were also touched by the thoughtful parting gifts. I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting Aswan.
