Self-Catering Accommodations in Inari

The place is exactly as described, quiet, intimate and clean. The big windows give a great feeling of being in touch with the outside. The breakfast restaurant is a short walk away and is great deal. We would definitely stay again.

This place is a hidden gem surrounded by stunning scenery. The hospitality and food (optional as you can cook your own) were amazing.

This is a cozy place for a solo trip, especially if your main goal is to chase the Northern Lights. For me, the most interesting—and challenging—part was lighting the fireplace every day. It’s not so easy for someone born and raised in a city who has never had the chance to try it before, but it was absolutely worth it. As for the Northern Lights, there’s a lake right in front of the cabin that feels like your own private viewpoint. It’s wide open, with zero light pollution, so you don’t need to drive anywhere else to see it. During my four-night stay, I was lucky enough to see it every single night, which was truly amazing!

This is an amazing cabin by the lake front! Beautifully and thoughtfully done interiors and amenities. It was maintained well, spick and span!! The communication with Nilla has been easy, and he's available when there's questions. Otherwise the guide that he has prepared for the house has most of the questions answered. Remember to bring your groceries, since there're no shops close by (but being secluded from the town is also what makes this place special). We even saw northern lights from the cabin directly - thanks to the big wide glass panes! Overall we definitely recommend it - since this stay was 100% the highlight of our trip!

The cabin is in the middle of the woods which is beautiful. The location is perfect to walk on the forest or on the lake to chase northern lights. The facilities are good and the accommodation is comfy.

We are a group of four friends who decided to explore Inari and its surroundings in March and the Arctic Nature Lodge was the perfect place to stay. We were easily able to reach several wonderful locations for hiking, cross-country skiing, and viewing the Northern Lights. The location is excellent, close enough to the village to go shopping, for example (it’s a 10 to 15-minute walk), and right next to Lake Inari. The house is beautiful, well maintained and fully equipped, so we could cook our own meals whenever we wanted. The included sauna was also a very nice plus. The owners live in a house next to the Artic Lodge and were very friendly and gave us excellent tips. The house also has four snowshoes, that were very useful on our hikes in the snow, and two pairs of altai skis, which we tried only once to get the feeling of riding them (it was a very nice experience, by the way).

The views were incredible. We loved the large windows, and that we could see the aurora and beautiful sunrises from the bed. The sauna was perfect. The decor in the living room was very nice.
