Lovely location, very friendly people, nothing was too much trouble.

Property was very clean and a lovely quiet location. Cottage was ideal for our short break away had everything we needed. Hosts were excellent and readily available if we had any questions.

Easy to gain access to the property. It was very clean and well presented throughout, a real home away from home. Will definitely book again.

The property was clean and well presented. The kitchen had everything we needed,with washing up liquid etc in addition to a wide range of utensils and crockery. The television was large,mounted on the wall and had Netflix etc available. Although facing onto the road we had no issues with noise and slept in very comfortable beds.There was a lovely little terrace area outside which was a sun trap, with chairs and table. The flat is ideally located for walking around Pickering and only a short walk to the Station to catch the steam engines.

A very friendly and knowledgeable family ran the business. They had some chickens which had run of the area and it was nice to see them roaming free.

The lodge is tastefully decorated, has built in appliances - everything is of great quality. There was a remote controlloed tower fan, an air fryer, oven, grill, hob and microwave - also a fridge/freezer. Lots of plates/bowls and mugs. Excellent quality towels and bedding. The location is an ideal base for exploring nearby towns and attractions - there is a Lidl just a couple of miles away. There is a decent space between lodges so feels private and is a quiet location. Having a dining table and patio doors to the outdoor seating area was lovely.
