I loved everything about these cute cottages! They are located in the middle of the forest and you have this beautiful mountain views. I would love to come back every year!

Hotel Galery is a nice homey boutique hotel in downtown Mestia. The couple owners were very nice; helped us with our luggages, and gave us the tour of the ground floor. Their daughter served as our interpreter. Our private room was spacious with 2 twin beds, clean, with en-suite bathroom. Since it’s winter time they gave us extra heater which really helped in warming up our room perfectly. The beds were comfortable. Location was perfect, a few minutes to everything - 2 grocery stores, restaurants, ATM, bus station, bakeries, park & even the police station! The roof deck had an amazing 360 view of Mestia! Huge dining area, 2 refrigerators, and kitchen.

The location is nice, quite at night, the house itself is cute, relaxing and well equipped with everything you need. the manager and the lady are both very sweet. I had a wonderful time here. Highly recommend!!!

The apartment is exactly as pictured. Fully stocked kitchen, washing machine in the bathroom and two bedrooms. Giorgi was very kind and helpful and willing to assist with anything needed while in town.

We had a very clean and cosy room, beautiful garden amazing to chill after a hike. Hosts are very friendly. They offer dinner and breakfast. Even a lunch box to go. We are Georgians and even for us food was amazing.

The environment and people are nice. Meals are perfect. There is also a cute cat and dogs. The host are all friendly and are willing to help guests. Water is hot. There are washing machine and dryers. All good.

Very nice family. Simple, homely and cozy, with a beautiful garden and mountain view. The meals were superb!

The cottage is rustic but very cozy, the view is amazing. I recommend for someone who likes the outdoors (and isn't scared of bugs)

The food, the host, the location

Really peaceful location with a nice family. A nice little yard to relax in after hiking. The host made the best food of our 4 day hike, and the portions were huge. Both dinner and breakfast were amazing. Really recommend it!

We enjoyed visiting Mariam and her family during our hike from Mestia to Ushguli via Tsvirmi. When we arrived, the family made us feel incredibly welcome. They were open to sharing their culture and traditions with us. We felt like we were visiting our relatives and good friends.

True gem off the beaten track. The hike from Mestia to Tsvirmi has amazing views. You will stay with a georgian family which is very hospitable and welcoming. There are no markets or cafes in the village and you'll eat with the family. The room is small but the bed is comfortable. A hot shower is also available.

Best and most generous hospitality, we got a lot of great food for dinner and breakfast, we took for the way and the lady even gave us a jar of jam for the trip.

Everything was tidy and clean, the views just amazing.

I recomend this spot, the hotel is in a very quiet place, where you will not be disturbed by noise if you want to rest. The beautiful mountains of Svaneti and the pride of Svaneti Ushba peak can be seen from the hotel rooms (you won't get a similar view from most of the hotels in Mestia). The host and his family are very attentive and nice people. If you need to plan a trip within Svaneti, you can ask and they will help you to plan, and they also know many people who will help you spend your time pleasantly (transportation, tour guides, local cuisine, etc.). My stay at Winterfell Mestia was fantastic. The unique home design added a cozy touch to the experience, and all the equipment provided was not only useful but also enhanced my stay. The owner's hospitality was remarkable. Highly recommended!
