Self-Catering Accommodations in Kilmore

We stayed here for two days because our dog is afraid of fireworks during halloween. It was so quiet, and perfect for what we needed. Our host messaged us before staying and let us know there was fresh bread, jam, butter and a selection of cereals. There was lots of little touches that made it feel much more personalised and welcoming. 10/10 !

This place was so nice, everything you would need for a short stay. Good location to catch ferry to Spain. The hostess and son greeted me with smiles and very welcoming. I would very much recommend this place.

This is one of the nicest accommodations I’ve stayed in. Everything was perfect. The bedsheets and blankets were spotless and had a lovely fresh‑laundry scent. The whole space felt so welcoming that I wouldn’t have minded spending a few days just relaxing indoors, enjoying the comfort and the view of the garden. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The garden view was absolutely beautiful - it was amazing to open the windows to birds singing and complete quiet. This place would be perfect no matter the weather. I travelled with a friend and we’re already planning to return. It’s also only a 15‑minute drive from picturesque Kilmore Quay and Crossfarnoge Bay Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Ireland.

The accommodation was just what we needed (as a family of four plus a doggie) after a day of beach-hopping in the rain and wind!! :D warm, cosy, kitchen to quickly make an easy meal, space to dry up things etc.etc. We will be back whenever in the area. Highly recommended!!

We had such a lovely stay at Castle Mill Cottages. Check-in was super easy—the host sent us the code in advance. The location is absolutely beautiful, right in the middle of the Irish countryside with endless green fields and birds all around. It felt peaceful and quiet, yet Kilmore Quay is just a 15-minute drive away, with one of the best pubs we visited during our trip. The house itself was spacious, warm, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we loved the natural light throughout the space. There’s also convenient parking, which made things even easier. We honestly wish we could come back already—highly recommend!

It had everything we needed with a fantastic view.Very clean and beds comfortable. Highly recommend !!

The cottage was exactly what needed, and more. We needed accommodations that were close to the ferry terminal, accepted pets and were comfortable. Mo’s Cottage was all of that—plus it was adorable and the owners were attentive and warm. Our only regret was that our stay was so short! We hope to come back:)

2nd visit to kilmore cottages, it was as good as last time. John made sure we had everything we needed and was on hand to help if needed
