Warm welcome by local staff. Gave great advice on where to eat while we stayed there. Perfect location for Yoro Park with super close excellent places for breakfast and dinner with a bread shop on the way to the park to pick up lunch. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The house was very clean, organized and everything we needed like utensils, slippers, toothbrush, soap, towels were provided so our stay was very comfortable. Also, the location is very convenient to most things you would want in an accommodation. A nearby convenience store, a 24hour Katsu chain, a Mcdonalds, Starbucks, even a short car trip to Don Quijote and a plus for being close to the expressway.

The host graciously offered to pick us up at the Gifu Hashima station, despite us being later than we anticipated, and even though we didn't have a clear idea of when we were going to arrive. The host had so many offerings at the property, including tea and coffee for us to drink during our stay. The rooms were large, and offered clear instructions for setting up our bedding. The washroom and everything was spotless. It was the perfect place to stay after long days of exploring (and in our case, making a knife). The property looked a bit far, but was in fact only 10 minutes walk from a station, in which we could get to Gifu Hashima for the Shinkansen or to other stations to explore the rest of Nagoya/etc. Beautiful.
