The place was super clean and the caretaker was so helpful and nice. We stayed there for two nights and it was comfortable and simply amazing.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Tanderra in Sri Lanka, which was an amazing experience. We were a party of 6 all female friends. From the moment we stepped foot onto the property, we were captivated by the sheer beauty and tranquility that surrounded us. The rooms were spacious, bright, and well maintained. Each bedroom was comfortable, featuring plush beds, high-quality linens, and 3 had breathtaking views of the ocean. The en-suite bathrooms were fitted with luxurious fixtures, rain showers, and quality products. One of the highlights of this villa was its indoor / outdoor living spaces. The expansive dining table was perfect for long lunches. It overlooked the pool at one side and the garden on the other. Really felt that it was inside outside living. The staff at the villa were exceptional in every way. They were warm, welcoming, and always went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met. From the moment we arrived, we received a personalized service that left a lasting impression. The private chef, Santha, prepared delectable meals, showcasing the finest flavors of Sri Lankan cuisine, and the attentive housekeeping staff Sampath and Darshana ensured that the villa was always in pristine condition. In conclusion, our stay at this amazing villa in Sri Lanka was nothing short of magical. It exceeded all our expectations in terms of luxury, beauty, and hospitality. If you're looking for a truly extraordinary experience amidst a tropical paradise, I wholeheartedly recommend this villa. The fantastic balcony views, being so close to the crashing waves, right at a wild beach, the friendly staff, morning swims in the pool..... - I loved my stay here (last not least because I scored a good low season rate).

This place has everything you need. Although our group is 3, the villa spaces is huge and probably can accommodate up to 8-9 peoples. The pool was great. The place is very near to Rekawa beach that you can observe turtle during the night. It was quiet and private that you can hear the sound of waves all day. The host and his housekeeper provides us an exceptional services. They kindly took our clothes to laundry and sent back In the evening. Breakfast is excellent too.

We really enjoyed our staying at this villa. It was clean and cozy. An ideal place for privacy. The beach was empty for kilometers in both directions. We felt like we were on a desert island. The owner was very helpful and quickly resolved all our questions. Hope to visit this beautiful place again 🤍

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa with family, friends, and kids. The villa is cozy and perfectly located by the ocean, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of touristy areas. The swimming pool was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly, taking excellent care of us throughout our stay. The meals were delicious, with an amazing breakfast featuring local fruits and eggs cooked to our preference. For dinner, we could choose whatever we liked, and the home-cooked food was always satisfying. The helpers on the villa made our time there truly enjoyable. This is a great place for anyone looking for peace and quiet away from the crowds. However, I do agree with previous comments about the mattresses being a bit old and uncomfortable. It would be great if they could be replaced. Overall, a very enjoyable stay!

we stayed here already before some years ago. The villa is in mint condition, very clean and the staff is really helpful. The location is right on the almost empty beach, so you can have a Robinson feeling... We went swimming in the ocean right in front of the property - no problem. The Germany owners run a restaurant right next to the villa -also on the beach - with very jummy food. The restaurant is called "Blue Dolphin" - do not miss to eat there. Sure we will return in one or two years time ......

We had a fantastic stay at. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect, close to Rekawa beach and restaurants. The staff/host was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. It gave us a homely feel. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in and chill and also who would come to watch turtle lay eggs in Rekawa beach as the stay is 300 metres to the beach.
