This place oozes charm and character! Kris, the manager, is on the premises at all times and is friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed. However, it’s not for everyone, as it’s all refurbished flea-market style. For us it was absolutely awesome.

This place is amazing. You have the comfort of home but with views like you’re camping. I was lucky and I could see all the stars and the moon it was beautiful. There is wifi and warm water which is a plus. The cabin is super cute with big windows which allow you to see the night sky even from bed. They have nice lawn chairs outside as well. They have activities you can book but I was only there for a night so I didn’t get to try them. The host was easily accessible with any needs.

Very quiet and calm location, best place for digital detox! The cottage was very comfortable, warm and cozy. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly and most importantly very helpful. The 4WD farm tour is must-do, the views you’ll never get to see.

Gorgeous setting, and such a cute place to stay, bed was super comfy, room was way more spacious that i expected. Really peaceful and good temperature control of the room. Very easy to get to from lake takepo which was a plus.
