I stayed for two nights with my two Shih Tzu dogs and didn’t leave the farm, enjoying the farm animals, birds, and the intriguing sights and sounds, and also spent time reading his book about Renagour, which added to the experience. Fig is super friendly, and a joy. Fresh honey or feed the horses, plenty to explore.
Check-in and check-out were straightforward, and it’s an easy drive from Wellington. I will definitely return when I need downtime.

Good location and very pretty blossom trees out the front. Right on the river and very close to the centre of town. Lovely hot shower. Kitchen well equipped and had everything we needed to cook. Really nice that it has separate bedroom and living space, gives enough space to chill out. Easy check in and check out. Staff friendly and welcoming.

The room was spacious and facilities excellent. I liked the kitchen area where everything was right within reach with plenty of room to prepare kai and to move around in.
The bathroom was modern and spotless. Thank you to your cleaning staff.
The couch comfortable, as was the bed.
The room was warm, and the heat pump an added bonus.
Parking was right off the road and right outside the room, which was great, and the area quiet.
Thank you, we enjoyed our one night stay and the price was very reasonable 😀

Location and size good plus had a great selection of kitchen utensils, towels etc. Had a separate bedroom and good size lounge and kitchen area. Very quiet at night. Parking outside door. Good low budget clean accommodation.

Quiet. Peaceful location. We were there in winter so the warm beds with extra blankets and electric blankets were much appreciated. Loved the logburner and it was lovely to arrive to the fire being set and we just had to light it! Plenty of firewood and kindling. Home like environment. Extras provided in kitchen. Loved the collection of scraps for chook food!!

What a lovely place to stay!
Greeted by a warm, friendly and helpful man at reception (sorry i forgot his name). Cute and clean cabin ... a lovely little space.
Loved that there was a fridge and microwave in the cabin, but the communal kitchen and other areas are great too. Everything is well maintained - clean and tidy.
So close to the beach and the venue where our event was held, and right across the road from a dairy/takeaway.
I would love to come back and stay a few days in the summer 👍

Beautiful rooms. Very clean, tidy, warm and relaxing. Shower was amazing. Kitchen was perfect. Parking right in front of the room and laundry was easy to use.
