Beautiful views, private setting. Exceptional staff. Restaurant had wonderful breakfast buffet. Chef prepares a delicious choice for dinner. Great hamburgers delivered to our house.

The location was fantastic with an amazing view. The staff kind and attentive. The rooms were big and clean.

It's the third time I stayed at this property and after a complete refurbishing, it's now even more worth the money you spend. We got to be in a totally new room and it was great. It's much more premium now than what it used to be, and the dishwasher is a life safer. Will go back again!

Everything. It was just perfect. Superb location and place, amazing staff, very beautiful and unique property, great breakfast. The property is huge, the apartments are big and well furnished. The views over the river are amazing. There is a direct access to the river where you can swim or simply enjoy a great kayak ride. The staff is extremely friendly and always available. We will surely be back

This is a wonderful property, very clean (in fact the property looks new). The kitchen is well equipped although has none of the basic consumables you might need (salt, pepper, oil, sugar, etc). The balcony is a nice size with plenty of room for sun loungers, chairs, table & a drying rack. The barbeque grill built into the wall is a boon and got lots of use during our stay. There is a great view over the lake and it is quite peaceful, being away from the main road. The swimming pool is excellent for lazy days and we often had it to ourselves, it's big enough to actually swim in if you want (~8m long). Our host was wonderful, quick to respond to requests and very helpful (we met her once in the supermarket when buying fish and she stepped in on our behalf to ensure we got the best sardines (for the aforementioned barbeque)) Overall a great property in a great location that we'd be happy to return to.

We have travelled for the last 16 years full time. The management, the Rodrigues family, are the best people we have ever had the privilege with which to deal. They are very helpful, kind, generous and decent. In a period of 42 days, they were caring and considerate and made every effort to make our trip the best possible. Truth be told, should we have been able, we would have awarded more than 10 of ten. Thank you kindly, family, we are unlikely to meet anyone like you until our next trip here.

The apartment and grounds are incredible and immaculate. Beds are comfy and the terrace was beautiful. We really wish we could have stayed longer. I can't say enough good things about this amazing place to stay. The staff are responsive and helpful.

An incredible location, and one of the cleanest and nicest apartments I've stayed at in Portugal. It had everything we needed, the view of Gerês was lovely and the location was great. The hosts even left a little basket with local honey and some crackers. I would highly recommend this place.

This is a lovely place to stay in Geres, not far from the hiking start points - the tourist office is next door and can provide some info on hikes. We were lucky to have met the hosts; who were so very kind and upgraded our room on second night - if available, do book the two bedroom apartment when traveling with kids .

Communications were always friendly and descriptive. The place has an amazing view, and the atmosphere is very very cozy.

Location and free parking were good. Five minute drive to Geres town and lake. One minute walk to a great little restaurant nearby. National Park 10 minute drive away. Beautiful views from the balcony.

Love the proximity to lakes, waterfalls, thermal baths, and hiking. There is so much to see and do in Gêres National Forest. The house has fabulous views of the lake below and the mountains surrounding. The house is very clean and comfortable. There is a small pool in the back and a beautiful outdoor space atop the home. For us, one of the very best things about the place were the hosts. Anabel, her husband and daughter were so welcoming and so gracious.
