We loved the location and the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was really nice and we felt welcome. I am gluten intolerant and they provided me with warm gluten free bread each morning! I really appreciated it. The staff provided us with valuable information regarding paths around the lake. Hope we will come back!

Great location with different mountain views from 2: different balconies. Only 10 minutes walk into the village to restaurants etc. and only 2 minutes walk to the bus stop to catch buses to lake Bohinj and other places..only €2 for 24 hours of unlimited travel. A very well kept apartment in the traditional style but with modern style and comforts inside.

Everything! I absolutely LOVED our staying in Alpine Homestead. Rooms are so cute and cozy, dinner and breakfast were deliciously amazing and well prepared and Jasmina and her team were wonderful and very accommodating. Jasmina was also very interested in our itinerary while in Slovenia, asking about the places we were going to and recommending cities to visit. It doesn’t feel like your average standard hotel. It is a special and unique experience. I recommend this place to EVERYONE.

I really enjoyed my stay! The whole process of getting the apartment was incredibly smooth, which made for a stress-free arrival. The place was spotless and everything felt brand new, which I really appreciated. It was also fully stocked with all the essentials—from snacks to pans and cutlery—so I had everything I needed from the start. Everything worked perfectly and was in great condition. The host was super friendly and responsive, and even went the extra mile by recommending great places to visit. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay here. Due to availability, the host upgraded our booking to a larger room with an excellent mountain view and a terrace for no extra charge, which we really appreciated since we've been hiking the whole day. The hosts were welcoming and available for answering any of our questions. The kitchen was well equipped and the room had a lot of storage space which is great for longer stays as well. Everything was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

The apartment was huge and the bed was comfortable. The balcony was a nice place to relax at the end of the day. There was sufficient equipment to prepare meals if you'd prefer. Francka was such a friendly and welcoming host as was her friend who was helping her during our stay. The internet speed was good. There are a few good restaurants and ice cream shops within walking distance and Lake Bohinj is a quick drive or bike ride away.

Sasa was incredibly helpful and nice. The apartment was spotless and the views out the back were stunning. This quiet location was walking distance to the lake with a couple of small shops closer by. The space was also bigger than I expected.

A spacious, well-equipped apartment in a charming, picturesque Alpine village. Although there was a minor misunderstanding, everything was easily resolved thanks to the resourcefulness of the kind hosts.

Great location for both skiing and hiking around the lake. Stunning views all around. The restaurant may be closed out of season, but there will be very few tourists in the hotel itself

The host was just amazing, very kind and caring. The location was very nice and quiet, with just a 5 minute walk to the lake beach. We really liked the idea of the shared corner with tea, coffee, oil, seasonings, etc. Being the house, there was a very nice back garden with a terrace where we were eating while looking at the mountains.

The property was super clean and the location is 2-3mins stop from a bus stop. We asked for a checkout at 11am and they said yes:). The kitchenette is good as it has everything you needed for a short stay although the fridge is a bit unstable but it’s working. The balcony was really huge that offers you a good view. The restroom is super great as well - huge than many of the apartments we stayed. The only thing that’s missing here is shower gel and shampoo so make sure you’ll bring your own:) Else I will stay again here when we visit Bohinj again😊

Good location, clean room, comfortable bed. The lake, a couple of good restaurants, a small shop are all within a 10-minute walk. Many other nice places are just a short (up to 30 minutes) drive away. There's no check-in "end time" which was especially good in our case as we arrived much later than planned due to very heavy rain.

The property was well located, close to a small supermarket, right next to the Mostnica and we had a nice view into the valley across the village. Mateja was always available for questions and even got us a ride to the train station in the very early morning. It was a very pleasant stay here.
