Exceptional the views were majestic. I was there to have lunch ended up sleeping over. Everything was perfect. Room, staff, food and facilities. Overall ambience 10/10

The Animals and how kid friendly the place is

This property is fantastic, especially for what you are paying. The tents are in pristine condition and the hottub is an excellent touch. All of the appliances are tidy and work well. Really enjoyed this short stay and would def stay again.

On the day before travelling was given an Electonic map and given contact details for different people incase of i have a problem.

Super convenient location and incredibly private. Wonderful views of the mountains. Unit is exceptionally spacious and excellent value for the money. We are already recommending The Bunker to our friends for any trips they may be considering to Drakensberg. Jo is very thoughtful and communication was excellent in all respects. Would book again without hesitation.

Really cozy and comfortable cottage set in a beautiful location. I enjoyed having complete darkness at night with proper block out curtains. The cottage has everything you need for self-catering. The hosts were wonderful and friendly. I also really enjoyed the jacuzzi.

Exceptionally friendly staff, especially Spa that went out of his way to make us feel welcome. It's nice to wake up and see the springbokkies in the field next door. Rustic atmosphere and peace and quiet.

Beautiful views and located near everything one would need

Location was perfect and safe , so serene and we enjoyed every bit of our stay. we were actually short of nothing and beds were so comfortable as well as the showers.

We had an exceptional stay. Chris and Magda were warm, gracious, and genuinely thoughtful in every detail. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt welcomed and well looked after. The setting is serene and peaceful, with stunning views of the mountains and the lake right from the property. It was so calm and beautiful that we often had to push ourselves to leave and explore the area because it was so tempting to simply stay and enjoy the surroundings. The accommodation itself is beautifully kept, with impeccable housekeeping and a level of care in how everything is thoughtfully appointed that immediately stands out. Chris and Magda truly have hosting down to an art form. This is easily the best place we’ve stayed in South Africa and one of the best anywhere in our travels around the world.
