Location and facilities were beautiful- and the host was very attentive to our needs.

Out of the box experience in a stunning setting. Miles from anywhere alone in the Klein Karoo, but still close enough for basic necessities. If you appreciate something original and arty, this is for you. An architectural masterpiece surrounded by indigenous bush and shrubs with rolling hills around you. An adventure just getting there, so not for the feint hearted, yet a normal light suv is more than adequate. The wood fired hot tub is lovely and this is a great place for romantic getaways. We brought our mountain bikes and cycled to Domein Doornkraal Padstal towards Oudtshoorn. It was a lovely ride among ostriches, big and small. The smell of Karoo bossies and the sight of endless wildflowers was truly memorable. We will be back and will recommend this to everyone with a sense of adventure.

If you’re looking for peace, quiet, and the soothing sounds of nature, the Kliphuisie is definitely worth a stay. It’s rustic, serene, and full of history — the perfect escape.

Lovely place to wind down inside the house or outside on the veranda

Had to leave early due to work issues, but this place is a battery super charger. So peaceful so quiet and an excellent host,who makes you feel like this is your home. Definitely on my "to return" list.

Tranquil getaway from the city life. Everything about the venue says welcome. Pool is fantastic for hot summer days. Never seen the stars so bright at night. Breath taking views greet you in the morning. Thanks to Colin for being a great host.
