The staff was easy to contact and very helpful in responding to questions. We were greeted by Angela who took us to the AJ office to check in and help store our luggage. Coincidentally, our room was ready so we were able to check in right away.

We had a fantastic stay at Gloria Residence, Taipei, made special right from the start by a thoughtful welcome email after booking. On arrival, the hotel kindly upgraded our room in celebration of our Wedding Anniversary, which we truly appreciated. The room was outstanding—beautiful wooden flooring and walls, finished to the highest standard. It featured a spacious bedroom with a very comfortable king‑size bed, a separate work area, and a lovely bathroom with a bathtub. The room was exceptionally well equipped with a fully stocked kitchen and utensils, welcome drinks in the fridge, a washing machine, and even an exercise cycle, which was a delightful surprise. The hotel facilities were equally impressive, including a swimming pool with a lifeguard and a 24‑hour lounge offering complimentary cookies, coffee, books, magazines, a foosball table, and fresh bakery items in the morning such as butter buns and red bean buns. The staff were truly exceptional. We were warmly welcomed by Lloyd, and throughout our stay, received outstanding service leadership from Tina and Shawn, ably supported by Katherine and Jonathan. Their hospitality was genuine and memorable. The location is excellent—about 600 meters from the subway station, with many shops and conveniences nearby. Overall, Gloria Residence offers luxury, comfort, and outstanding service. It is unquestionably a must‑stay for anyone visiting Taipei, and we would happily return.

Great value for money, especially since most hotels and dormitories were very expensive during the New Year’s Eve period. The shared bathroom was clean, and the mattress was very comfortable. The dormitory was spacious enough for me to sit and move around the bed comfortably. There is an elevator, which was convenient. The shared pantry was quite small but had everything I needed. Excellent location, right outside the MRT station.

Centrally positioned in Zhongzheng district, Sunny Hostel is set right next to the beautiful 228 Park and offers cozy accommodations and heartfelt services.
