The absolule highlight and very big surprise was the delicious food at their restaurant - we had dinner there every night, the portions were perfect, and the food truly delicious. The breakfasts were also amazing, lots of options. The staff is was SO nice, especially the restaurant/breakfast crew, and also the owner/manager is super friendly, accomodating and welcoming. They are dog friendly, we were allowed to bring them for dinner and breakfast! Lots of walking areas around the hotel for them as well. Location couldn't be better, just across the street from the bus stops that take you everywhere, and walking distance to the farm lands and little river paths which the dogs had an absolute blast!

Such a cozy hotel! The decor is lovely, and the breakfast offers a wonderful variety of options. We also loved the bathroom—it’s completely modern and sparkling clean. The balcony view is amazing

The property was beautiful, well kept, extremely clean, and the staff was all amazing. We were lucky enough to enjoy the gala dinner on Sunday evening and the food was truly amazing, one of the best meals we’ve had in a really long time.

Everything was great! We were on our Honeymoon and thought this was the best hotel we’ve ever been at! The amenities, food options, hospitality, and location were nothing short of amazing!

Our seat was assigned which we enjoyed. The selection of foods was very generous. the staff were attentive. The man preparing the omelets/eggs was most friendly, professional and attentive to what we wanted. we have already recommended HotelSpielmann to our friends and family!

We enjoyed a lot 3 nights stay at Villa Buchenhain! We had a wonderful room (108) overlooking Ehrwald! Rooms are spacious (bedroom and living room / fully equipped kitchen). Yes, bathroom doors are made of glass :) not sure how it works when you travel with kids (we will find it out next year ;) The nearest slope is 5 mins walk. There is a ski room with heating system for the boots. SPA is very nice, with swimming pool and sauna, hammam and red infra sauna. We loved chilling there after sport days. The owner of the property and his wife were so friendly and supportive. Their behaviour and kindness were amazing. The location was amazing and the view from our apartment was unbelievable. We recommend this hotel and will definitely visit it again.

The room was spacious. Bathroom was very modern and clean. The view on the Zugspitze was awesome. The ski bus is stopping in front of the apartment. The Spa area was very nice

This town is one of our favorite places we have ever visited! Straight out of a fairytale. With that being said, this home is magical. The host family is so kind and the spa is incredible with stunning views!

The staff was very friendly. We weren't able to arrive until after the check-in time of 6pm, but the staff left our key in a lockbox for our convenience. We also ended up getting a room upgrade to a 2 bedroom unit with a kitchen, living room area, and big balcony facing the mountains. The views were beautiful! Would recommend staying here!

The view from the hotel was beyond what we expected. The apartment we stayed in had it's own entrace and we were able to park right in front. We enjoyed the spa room and kids play area which were both an unexpected bonus. The kids loved the outdoor trampoline as well. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. We definitely plan to come again.

Amazing location and the restaurant was phenomenal! Our kids loved the pool and their robes.
