I had an absolutely incredible stay at Semaya Beach Resort. The staff were all very gentle, attentive and hospitable. The room and facilities were so beautiful. I loved the design and decorations, especially the outdoor shower in the garden and the bathtub overlooking the sea. The balcony was large and ocean facing. It was perfect writing my diary, reading, sipping tea and watching the sunrise there. The wifi was fast and I didn't have any problem at all accessing the internet there despite that there was no cell phone reception at all. And the food was SO delicious!

The place was really clean, the staff were very friendly, they served delicious food and the location is really nice and its located in the jungle. The yoga class is places in an open space outdoor while nature is your view was such a nice relaxing experience with Shery Totally recommend this place!

All the staff at Sea La Vie were very kind from the moment we arrived. The bellman helped us with our luggage, and we were welcomed with a cold towel and a tea upon arrival. Check-in was fast, and the room was beautifully decorated with an ocean view — spacious, with good air-conditioning and hot water. At the restaurant, we were assisted by Dwik, a very friendly guy. We talked a lot, asked him many questions, and he always had a smile and a great attitude.

Everything was top notch. The stuffs were very well trained and loving. There behavior was very good.

Very nice location, the road is a bit tight but we rented scooters from a place nearby and we had a great experience! The people who work there at the restaurant and reception are so helpful and kind. We have no words to thank you!

*Staff*: people were very friendly, helpful and generally nice to be around! It's not just management - everyone made us feel like we are among friends! (Artha was the manager that oversaw our stay and was very helpful and friendly) *Room*: looks amazing (the decor was lovely), was spotless, the view was incredible and the amenities were great (great bathroom consumables!) *Pool area*: infinity-style, and the fact it is built on a cliff creates an even better illusion of connection with the ocean than other pools. The fact it has a direct view to Bali and mount Batur is making it even more incredible! *Spa*: we had the best massages of our lives here! And the entire process of the spa reception and info sheet we fill in is very professional! *Food*: we always eat as local or regional as possible, and the food we tried here was very tasty and good looking *Position*: we saw that there are reviews on booking.com stating the cliff positioning (and the required climbing that comes with it) as a disadvantage. We disagree, as we believe this creates the opportunity for some much required, healthy movement. And, as stated before, the positioning creates many advantages related to views and quietness!

The cottages are very beautiful, we had a very pleasant stay. Good Location, very nice ocean view with close proximity to both sides of the island, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Ditak at the reception for his hospitality. Would definitely visit again 😃

This place was amazing, I chose tree house options and I was not dissapointed - basically could saw whole Bali. The view was astonishing all the times during day, night and early morning. The view from pool is amazing too. The breakfast were very solid. Everything is perfect despite roads to location (from south). So 10/10 overall.

I often stay at this hotel and really enjoy it. I love the beautiful island-style design of the buildings — it creates a very nice atmosphere. Everything you need is close by, the area is lively, and there are plenty of places to go and explore. The port is nearby, which is very convenient, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Overall, I’m very happy staying here and feel comfortable every time.

It was a perfect room, as we expected. The rooms were clean, and even the garden pools and so on were clean. Talking about breakfast, I could expect freshly squeezed fruit juice rather than readymade powder. And also they could improve a bit better least on breakfast.

The service was really good. You can ask anything and they are always available.

First of all, loved how the staff at Gelih Bungalows were so friendly and ready to help! They were always there when we needed something, which really made the stay easier. Upon arriving, we liked how peaceful and laid-back the place felt, simple, but it has a certain charm. The pool was a nice bonus, and the location was spot on! Just a short ride to the beach and close to shops. (Don't skip the Secret Penida restau which happens to be 5mins walk only!) Cleanliness? Hmm, I’d say mixed. Some parts were okay, but it could be improved, towels felt worn out, and mosquitoes so bring on your off lotion. For the price though, you get decent value and a comfy bed to rest on before exploring Nusa Penida.

An amazing oasis! Reality is even better than the photos. This hotel is an absolute gem! We are so lucky that we have chosen it! The whole territory, paths, villas are aesthetic, surrounded by flowers, and perfectly integrated into nature. The views of Bali and the sunsets are breathtaking, the sound of the ocean creates a magical atmosphere, and we even spotted dolphins! The weather here feels much fresher and more pleasant than on mainland Bali. What truly makes this place special is the service. The team is happy, polite, and open; it feels like visiting a big family rather than just a hotel. Communication was fast and helpful: from organizing taxis, shuttles, and boat tickets to customizing our meals, they handled everything. We traveled with our 1yo daughter, and their help was invaluable. Also we hired a professional nanny from Nusa Lembongan, which is very convenient and helped us to enjoy spa activities. The balinese massage is a must! The food was delicious and healthy. The breakfasts are great (both buffet and a la carte), with lots of vegetables, fresh fruit, and smoothies. I actually lost 5kg during the trip while eating incredibly tasty food! We also had a romantic dinner with flowers for two with a personal service - it's so beautiful! I saw one coulple had it closer to the beach but we decided to had it in a restaraunt area. We had a lot of activities: a seawater pool, a gym with a great view, snorkeling, and live music evenings. We asked hotel and they organized a trip to Diamond Beach for us, which was stunning. If you want to stay on Nusa Penida, I recommend to book this hotel for the whole period. We met a couple who went to another hotel for comparison but came back the same day! It would be so nice to visit this hotel next year. Our experience 100/10 =)

Love the view! They have a little outdoor fitness space. Honestly all you need! Such a nice host, helped us with everything. Could pay every additional with the card. Very friendly and always a smile on. Thanks a lot! Would come back immediately. Also convenient price for it 🙏🏽

Honesty, behaviour and helping nature of staff

Staff are very friendly and they took care of all my requests, including the birthday set up for me and my partner. The resort is well maintained and food is great.

Location is very nice just 15 minutes from the port. The staff is friendly and can help you out with the iternary planning. Rooms are spacious.

An oasis in the jungle close to Crystal Bay. Super friendly staff!
