Actually I just published a recommendation post about this hotel..I have to say it’s one of my favorite part of my Penang journey. Everything is just so perfect. I choose hotels mostly depend on the details, and during my stay inside, there’s nothing I can say dislike👍🏻 Clean, bright, intelligent, with very user-friendly layout and space design, returning to the room has become my everyday expectation .. All staff are highly qualified, all the decorations are fascinating. I will definitely choose it again when next time back to Penang.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cheong Fatt Tze - The Qing Suites. The location is amazing, everything you’d want to see in George Town is within walking distance from the hotel. The rooms themselves are gorgeous and the history behind the Blue Mansion makes the place all the more special. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even letting us use a shower after checking out so we were fresh for our late evening flight. 10/10 would recommend staying here if you’re visiting George Town!

The service truly stood out — the staff were warm, friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and everything was handled smoothly, making us feel genuinely well taken care of throughout our stay at Soori Penang. Place is clean. Necessities is complete, Has baby cutlery and baby chair which is suitable for my infant. Host is very friendly. Her assistant Mr Phil is also very helpful. The security are helpful too. I like this building as it is gated and secure. Rooms upstairs are spacious and my family is happy with this stay. It was a last minute booking and we manage to check in smoothly. Keep up the good work.

The breakfast options were diverse and quite filling, the room was super cosy and from a long flight I loved that it was only 20 minutes from the airport. Check-in was very smooth and my stay overall was great. I wish I had booked more nights!
