Spa hotels in Kendwa

Out of all the places that I stayed in Zanzibar, this was by far my favourite. The property is beautiful and is right on the beachfront. It’s close to many water activities on the beach as well as shops on the sea side and on the street side. When I did not have WhatsApp access and needed to make calls, the front desk staff kindly helped me make phone calls whenever I needed to arrange transport. I came here as a female solo traveller, and I had a great time and felt so welcome and safe. I even made friends with other female guests who were also travelling solo. The operations manager, Al Pacino even sent a cake to my room on my birthday, and when I requested to stay a little bit longer after my plans unexpectedly changed, Al Pacino kindly sorted out my arrangement at a better rate. The room was very clean with good AC, and the shower had good pressure and the hot water never ran out. The breakfast buffet was delicious and I stuffed myself every morning, even though I don’t even like eating breakfast usually. I would highly recommend staying here, you will not regret it. I would definitely come back here on my next stay in Kendwa.

Excellent hotel, the best on Zanzibar. Big, clean, green territory- native forest has been preserved and there are lots of different birds living here, not only crowns, if you know, what I mean ;) Bungalows design is astonishing, you will stay in the room with great comfort and visual pleasure. Staff is very well trained and ready to help in any possible situation, you literally need to worry about nothing during your stay here - this is exactly what locals call “hakuna matata”. Internet connection is fast and stable. Clean, sandy beach and unforgettable sunsets.

Our stay had a few bumps at first, but what really stood out was how they were handled with politeness. Manager was genuinely interested in making sure we had a good trip in Zanzibar. We were always greeted with warm smiles by everyone on site and the atmosphere was generally very relaxed. We even ended up booking one of the excursions through the tour guy on site because it was a better rate/package than we were looking at elsewhere, which is rarely the case.

I had such a wonderful stay at Hisia Hotel in Nungwi! The hotel itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and in an amazing location. The staff truly make the experience unforgettable – they are incredibly friendly, always ready to help, and greet you with the warmest smiles. The food was also really, really good and exceeded my expectations. The location couldn’t be better – just a short 3-minute walk to the beach and very close to all the little shops and the vibrant nightlife of Nungwi. It’s the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and authentic Zanzibar charm. Highly recommend

Fantastic stay at myblue hotel. The Property is just stunning. Beautiful well kept gardens and very peaceful atmosphere around the common areas. The infinity pool on the beach is just a spectacular spot to watch the sunset which is right in front of the hotel. The rooms are also very nice and spacious and extremely well cleaned. I was really impressed with the food variety and quality especially for the special dinners on the beach. A special thanks to all the staff that were always smiling and ready to help. By far the best hotel in nungwi. Will definitely come back soon.

This resort was amazing! I would highly recommend to everyone! I came as a solo female traveler and felt very safe. There is security at the beach so you are left alone. The beaches were beautiful. The rooms were pristine and amenities perfect, there is even a small gym with some cardio equipment, stationary bike, and some free weights. The staff were exceptional, very attentive and so nice and accommodating! They helped me call the ferry to move my ticket back because I had to stay an extra day! The food was pretty good too, definitely try the pweza (octopus)!

The hotel is a bit away from the beach, but I Loved the fact that they had private guest taxis to the beach and a walking guide on site should you choose to walk. The food was good and the staff were so kind and attentive! Made the place feel so welcoming. Wish I had stayed longer. Lovely hotel.

The room is clean, the staff is very friendly and over all everything is good, great location in the heart of Nungwi, out of the hotel there is everything,restaurants, markets, etc.. 2 minutes from Nungwi beach.
