Everything!! This hotel is clearly the best one that we had in Zanzibar! Direct access to the beach, the swimming pool on the rooftop is amazing and very clean! I highly recommend this hotel if you stay in Stone Town (very good location) The staff was also so nice, it made the stay even better! Thank you :)

Amazing location with phenomenal staff, especially the Masai Tribe who worked there!

It is a great place to stay for several days and make trips around the island or to the mainland for safari. It is only 15-20 minutes drive to the airport and less than half an hour to the center of Stone Town. Ideal if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the town and still not to waste time and money for long travels. The room was very clean and spacious, with lots of shelves and boxes to place things, with a small kitchenette. The staff was very caring and attentive. There were a couple of issues with the room, but they were quickly resolved. The meals in the restaurant are very decent, although a bit overpriced. The beef was really good, but don't take pizza. The breakfast is fine - both on site and the box they gaves us when we left the hotel early.

The location is fantastic for its purpose - two minute drive from the airport and the hotel picked us up at 3 am. The hotel is brand new, with new technology such as touch screens for the AC and lights as well as very spacious rooms. The cleanliness of the hotel was immaculate and the service from staff was next level. The staff helped us plan our day in stone town and called a reliable taxi driver to help us navigate the city. The staff also prepared breakfast boxes for us to take with us early morning as we had a safari. We had dinner at the hotel and the food was really nice, the breakfast was also very filling with many different options to suit all diets.

Everything! Class in every corner and aspect. Great attention to detail and design. Exterior and interior. The room is absolutely lovely, well designed, well equipped. Food (we only ate in snack bar but ordered outside the menus) was great. Breakfast was top notch and staff is assisting in every way and so pleasant

Great find. Too bad we did not reserve even earlier. Amazing place for our family. The beach, the nature, the food, the tranquility. And the transparency in pricing was also a great thing, given Zanzibar as a whole is tourist hell.

Had a wonderful stay at the Zanzibar Palace Hotel. It is a converted historic building. The room was large, clean, and had great air conditioning (which we needed as we were not used to such warm/humid weather). Daniela kept many of the historic elements of the building (wait until you see the locks on the doors…we loved it). They had made to order breakfast (along with cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc.). The staff were all very friendly, helpful and attentive (Iddi, Lulu, Elizabeth, Roderick, and Jamila). The hotel organized a walking tour of Stone Town and the guide, Khasim, was very friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. Everything in Stone Town is close to the hotel. We enjoyed walking along the water in the evenings as there was so much going on. Great stay.

I liked the fact that Royal Cliff is a hidden Gem in the countryside. All the food is organic and fresh. The staff are very friendly and willing to help. I appreciate their service. Salvina was very helpful.

The hotel garden and the ocean view is just beautiful. The property is well maintained and the staff are always at your disposal. It's a place for tranquility and relaxing. Highly recommend.

From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive, making sure I felt at home. The hotel itself is a perfect blend of traditional Zanzibari charm and modern comfort. My upgraded room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring Stone Town. The location is excellent—right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of key attractions, shops, and restaurants. Breakfast was a delightful experience, with a variety of fresh fruit, local delicacies, and international options, all served in a beautiful rooftop setting. One of the highlights of my stay was dining at the rooftop restaurant, where I enjoyed breathtaking ocean views while indulging in delicious food. The service throughout my stay was top-notch, with the staff always ready to assist with anything I needed. Thank you, Al Johari, for making my birthday so memorable! I will definitely be back. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zanzibar!

I will tell you that this is really the best place to be alone with yourself and alone with the service.Amazing cuisine, attentive staff (I do not know how they did it), perfectly designed houses, guys-this is love forever for what you have managed to do.Believe me, I have been living in Zanzibar for quite a long time.
