Everything excellent. Clean, beautiful property and the staff is super kind. We have visited many hotels in Zanzibar and this is one of the best so far. We’ll come back.

The staff are incredibly friendly. The pool’s were clean. The ocean was warm and great to swim in. Huge food variety.

staff was extremely polite and friendly. breakfast and dinner are both great. breakfast area is very relaxing to enjoy ur morning coffee. we had extented breakfasts. dinner time music was also very enjoyable.

The hotel is very tidy, clean, and very quiet. It overlooks a very beautiful beach. The best part is that it's new and makes you feel like you're really in Zanzibar. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. I especially like the hotel manager, Jola, who was wonderful and welcoming. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy this comfortable and wonderful place. I would like to thank the hotel owner who offered us free massage sessions, as Ali was friendly and hospitable as well.

I have visited Zanzibar before and stayed at a few hotels (large and small) and this is by far my favorite hotel, my kids and I did not want to leave. It was a hidden gem! The staff were very friendly, the owners were always available and very sweet and kind, the food was the best in Zanzibar. It’s a very quiet and lovely getaway. The beach felt like a private beach away from the overbearing Masai and tourists. The hotel was very cozy, authentic and unique. The rooms were spacious, the balcony was stunning and watching the sunrise every day was beautiful, AC was working perfectly, rooms was always clean and they clean twice a day. If you want to relax.. this is the place to stay! The owners and staff quickly became our family. Thank you for the most beautiful stay, we will be back again! ALL staff are absolutely delightful. Everyone made us truly welcome. Our room was spacious and clean. The Village and Reef Walk with James was really interesting and so worthwhile. The bar staff and chefs at the Beach Bar were great fun and the waitress and waiters in the restaurant were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble, for anyone. The location was perfect, quiet and relaxing. A few local restaurants around the beach, we tried as many as possible, some in the village itself. Try them, Google maps will give locations, they may look quiet but every one we tried, the people were super friendly and interested in where you come from etc, food takes a little while, but everything is cooked to order. There are a few beach boys about but they are generally friendly.

We recently celebrated our anniversary and birthdays at Sunshine Azura Hotel, and honestly, it was beyond anything we expected. From the moment the team learned about our special occasion, they went above and beyond to make it truly memorable. Absolutely everything, they were professional, a lot of attractions and surprises. They were beyond my expectations. Great support from the staff and such an excellent organization.

Best thing about hotel is that you can ask whatever you want and 99% of your wishes come true. As European I like some things made differently as they are in Africa but if you ask the hotel staff makes it! As example I can say they make awsome tuna stakes if you ask them! And they also add rum to your coconut if you ask. So the main tip is - ASK! Moreover, as experienced travelwr I have been reading reviews about the hotel and two things were very disturbing (a) that the selection of food os not very rich; and (b) that the tides make the sea go away for a far far way. To tackle that I shall say that (a) food is good and changes everyday, so even on 11 night stay you will have a varios optios to choose from (especialy if you are into sea food); (b) tides are constant but there was no day with out sea at your foot steps to the pool, meaning that some times you have to wait half a day before sea comes back but it eventualy does.

Right on the beach, lovely location, clean and staff was great

very chilled atmosphere, amazing food with unlimited breakfast orders (compared to many other 5* hotels, the food was really outstanding at bandas!!), staff was super nice and helpful. Our beach bungalow was so nice, we were able to hear the beach waves during the night!

The gardens are an oasis of tranquility and the perfect backdrop to morning yoga with Maria. Delicious food. Short walk to a quiet beach but you'll find it hard to leave. Perfect hosts, perfect stay.

We were upgraded to a premium room which had a terrific view of the beach & ocean and a large balcony with lounge chairs. Our room was spacious with a comfortable large bed. The bathroom was a good size with 2 sinks. There were plenty of towels, both for the bath and the beach. We also greatly enjoyed the swimming pool. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The co-owner and manager kindly assisted us with booking a snorkel trip.
