the house is beautiful and every little detail is taken care of. The rooms are big and comfortable, the kitchen is great and the living spaces are inviting to stay home all day. it's very quiet even though it's close the 7th ave and the beach is a short walk away. there's a nice cafe 2 min walk from the house and a fish market 10 min walk. we would definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Chaminade. The location in the forest above Santa Cruz is beautiful and very peaceful, with great views. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet, with a nice patio to relax on. The pool and hot tub area were perfect for our family, and the walking paths around the property were lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed something.

This Capitola hotel is a 10-minute drive from central Santa Cruz and New Brighton State Beach. It features an outdoor pool, and spacious suites with 32-inch flat-screen TVs and an iPod dock.

Everything was great. The only thing I would recommend is that the breakfast food area be expanded. It is very small and does not accommodate enough people.
