While the buildings themselves are beautiful and I loved the outside onsen, it was the staff who made staying here truly exceptional experience. They were like a thought - whenever I wondered where should I go next, or that I wanted to put a used plate to the side, they just appeared and helped and did exactly what was needed. We also had a tricky food restriction (gluten free) and yet they were able to accommodate us which is unheard of in Japan. Thank you to all staff for their hard work!

So so so beautiful and the staff was amazing only stayed for a night before heading off to my next location but would definitely stay another night to explore Hakone. Tried new foods I normally wouldn’t eat as well which was a great experience as well 🙂‍↕️

Breath Hotel was really like taking fresh breath . My husband and I will definitely come back again, and this time we will not hesitate to take a room with an ocean view . There's absolutely nothing to dislike about The Westin Yokohama. The staff are phenomenal. The included breakfast is delectable, and the dinner at any of the restaurants is artful and savory. My room is spacious with everything I would need and has an amazing view of the city and port. Aya Enomoto, who performed my deep tissue massage and facial, is a master of her craft. I have had many massages and facials before, but the one I received from her was amazing! This place was home away from home for a few days, and above all, it really did feel "heavenly." Thank you so much for providing exceptional quality and care to make my first time in Japan more memorable. Wonderful people work here. ❤️

It was exactly as in the photos, a book-lover’s dream, so peaceful and serene. The armchairs were comfortable and perfect for reading. The private onsen was great. I was afraid the outdoor shower would feel too cold (we’re from the tropics), but it was fine. The food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast. I appreciated the explanations given for the 10-course dinner. The servings may seem small but it was just right for a tasting menu and was filling. And I must repeat that the food was really good. I also appreciated the help provided to us to get a taxi to go to Gotemba (we had big luggages and I was recovering from a sprained ankle). It wasn’t easy to get taxis, but they kept trying and were able to get one for us. There was also a nice shop with artisan goods among books and writing paraphernalia.
