The lodge is set in a breathtaking location on the beachfront amongst the mangroves. Every detail of the place is well taken care of and well thought. The design of the rooms and bungalows is wonderful, and the rooms are aired by the beachfront breeze. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind - we can commend all of them and in particular manager Rufus, cook George, Sami, Asthman and Aisha. They made sure we had the best stay. We loved the food - the breakfasts are amazing - and would recommend asking George to cook a seafood platter with fresh fish caught on the day. We also much enjoyed kayaking at sunset amongst the mangroves and relaxing with a drink by the pool.

What a beautiful property with amazing guest service! We really enjoyed the attention to detail with aesthetics, architecture, furnishing,artwork, relaxing silence and the exclusive facilities. The Pinewood Beach Resort and Spa truly exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautifully appointed and remarkably spacious rooms. The resort grounds themselves were immaculately and meticulously landscaped, creating a stunning tropical oasis. Both the pool area and the beach were kept sparkling clean. Best of all, the staff was absolutely awesome, with special shout-outs to Tito and Bakari who took fantastic care of us down at the pool bar!
