Highly recommend as this hotel has everything one wants. The hosts are friendly, and very accommodating. The hotel is decorated with a French understated elegance that is calming.Our family suite on the top floor was very roomy and spotless. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with so many choices of high quality. We liked that it was in a residential neighborhood and about ten minutes of walk from the hubbub of town center.

The staff were very friendly and flexible. We had arrived after the kitchen had closed (we also booked about 30 minutes before we arrived, the manager returned to the hotel to check us in as checkin had closed at 20 and we arrived at 2010). She then went out of her way to get us something to eat and drink and to make sure that we had good rooms to stay in. The rooms were basic but cosy and comfortable, well maintained and spotless and the shower was really nice. The blankets were a little thin (not cold though) and a bit too short for some of my companions (tall Dutch people). I am sure they would have fixed this if we had asked for help, but we didn't as we were super tired and arrived late. Breakfast was excellent and not expensive. Staff spoke both German and English. The stay was inexpensive. The theming of the hotel is Herbs and Herbology, it smelled very pleasant and felt clean, light and inviting. The surroundings were beautiful.

Nice old fashioned hotel, we loved the atmosphere and the staff was very kind and helpful. Conveniently located near the Tropical island park. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom especially was brand new with a large shower. Convenient parking space at the back of the hotel. A very nice breakfast with a good variety of options. Great sauna.
