The staff was SUPER friendly and helpful. The food was FABULOUS - all parts of the excellent breakfast and the dinner that we enjoyed on one night, including both basics (burger and chips) and fun sides (e.g., the red pepper hummus-like dish). The room was very clean and much cleaner-feeling than many pet-friendly rooms, having our own door (motel-style) was exciting, and the property was clean and quiet.

I can’t say enough on the hotel and especially the wonderful staff. We booked last minute and it was the best choice ever, we walked the quiet streets to the castle before dinner which I can say have never had better roast beef highly recommend the restaurant as all the food and drink were amazing, we then went out to the beach and castle tour the next day ( all walking distance)

Very quiet location here in Belford, cottage was basic but very clean, host was very accommodating, we had a little garden enclosed in the property, very handy for our little dog. Good little supermarket close by and local pubs where they serve great meals. Not a lot to do here though. as long as you have a vehicle then you can travel not too far away to see other towns.
