We very much enjoyed our hosts, James and family, and of course, Slim Shady (the feline owner). The location is nicely situated within walking distance of much of Oban, the room was warm and cozy with a beautifully remodeled en suite bath, and the breakfasts were yummy. We hope to return in the future.

The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The room and bathroom were very small but sufficient for a short stay. They don't offer breakfast, however, at 7:30 they leave a goodie bag in front of each room with drinks and food. Absolutely amazing alternative! We enjoyed it a lot! Definitely recommend :)

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome, your staff at reception, dinner and breakfast were all so lovely. Our dinner and breakfast were very good with GF options for me being Coeliac. Our room was beautiful and bed super comfortable. The view of the water from our window was so beautiful and the location was perfect for a walk into town. We would definitely recommend staying at Muthu Alexandra Hotel if you are visiting Oban
