We arrived quite late. The host called one day prior to explain how to reach the house. There are several things we loved: the house and garden are beautiful. The hosts spend a lot of time cleaning and maintaining the house, since it is a house with history. It is quite far away from everything else, you can really enjoy and relax. The sea is very close and not crowded at all. The sandy beach is also great for children, since it is shallow water. Your host will give you some information about the hidden gems of the island and explain how to get there. The host is adorable, very friendly - and if you are lucky, he will do a family photo shooting in his beautiful garden. Hope to come back to this amazing location.

We always stay here when we need a hotel in Lixouri, the pool is big in a beautiful open scenic setting and all the staff and cleaners are super friendly. The location is great close to the local beach and town centre square. We like to have 2 pillows each as there was one each in the room so we asked for extra and got them with no quibble. Great air conditioning which cooled the room quickly and brilliantly well in the heat!

Surrounded by green mountains, the seafront Sami Beach Hotel offers a swimming pool, a hot tub and poolside bar. Sun beds and umbrellas are available for free.
