Beautiful location and surrounding areas. Claudio was an exceptional host and gave lovely recommendations and told us about the history of the area. Went above and beyond for us. Stunning room with an amazing view. Delicious breakfast and excellent value. Overall our favourite place we stayed on our travels and I hope to be back again!!

Lovely spot near the lake, within walking distance to the historic town centre. Stefano was a wonderful host. Breakfast selection was good and buffet was restocked frequently so food was fresh. After a hectic 10 day tour of Italy, we really enjoyed the relaxed pace here.

Locanda Poggioleone is in Pozzuolo, a 10-minute drive from Castiglione del Lago and Lake Trasimeno. It is immersed in nature and offers a garden and an outdoor pool with hot tub.

The host was lovely and helpful, recommending the restaurant and whats around us. She was great to communicate and speaks french english and italian. The location is amazing, surrounded by the toscan mountains and plains. The house is huge and beautiful, well conserved and renovated. Truly what we expected out of the toscan region. The room looked very new so everything was really nice. Staff was really friendly so we felt really welcomed. Breakfast was also very tasty. There is an elevator. Easy parking.
