Absolutely lovely hotel. Very nice staff, who made it feel like home. The view from the room is just as good as the pictures if you can believe it!! The room itself is also very clean and the room's style/look was the favorite of my 3 week Japan trip. We notified them that we were going to check in late, nervous that it'd cause issues. But they responded instantly and empathetically saying not to worry at all. Was a very nice experience and I highly recommend!

Such a wonderful experience! The room was amazing, huge. The baths, especially in the garden, are just outstanding! Also it was very interesting to wear traditional clothes, sleep on the futons, eat local food for breakfast and dinner. At the same time there is everything you may need. The nature nearby is also amazing.

Staying in this hotel in Ito was the highlight of the trip! The room had a tatami sea view and an in-room onsen for just over 8100 yen. They also offered a private open-air onsen for 4500 yen/3 hours, which is great value. Initially, I hesitated about staying in Ito for a night, but after visiting, I definitely think I should have stayed another day to relax and sunbathe by the sea. There's no need to rush.

The owner was so accommodating and kind. I had horrible food poisoning from a place in Tokyo and it was a really nice place to rest and recover. The private onsen was gorgeous. The rooms were very simple but comfortable and it was an easy walk from the station. We also accidentaly booked for the night prior and didn't realize it until the following day on our way to the location. He didn't charge us anything for the no-show which was amazing and so appreciated. Super nice host, great breakfast and overall stay!
