I honestly cannot understand how cheap this hotel is considering the fantastic facilities it offer, the size of the rooms, the courtesy of the staff, etc. etc. I am sad we only stayed there one night and would suggest staying at least two. The private bathtub/small onsen in the room was fantastic. The room is also so peaceful and quiet, I had the best sleep ever.

As part of my Gunma trip, I wanted to stay at a hotel with an open-air private onsen! I took a risk booking this one because, at the time of my research, there weren’t many photos available. The website only featured beautiful sketches of the rooms and layouts. I later discovered that the hotel was very new—less than a month old! Enticed by the promise of a serene open-air bath, I went ahead with the reservation. When the day arrived, check-in was smooth and easy. I forgot to get the concierge’s name, but he was incredibly friendly, and I appreciated his effort to speak English with us. When we were shown to our room, it was breathtaking. The view outside was spectacular, like a painting brought to life. Light snow was falling, creating an enchanting atmosphere. The private onsen? Absolutely top-notch—chef’s kiss! Breakfast the next morning was superb, and all the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you so much for this amazing experience. This was undoubtedly one of the best accommodations I’ve stayed at in Japan. I sincerely hope the hotel continues to do well because I can’t wait to come back next time.
