Lowest distance between lacation and beach.

To tell the truth, it was a quiet place, without any noise, I spent my vacation very happily. They took care of me in the best way. Money was not an issue for them. They welcomed me well and talked to me in a nice way. Congratulations for your service. I will definitely come back with my family. thank you

Tranquil and serene. There are peacocks in the morning that frolic in the field of baby mango trees. The cabanas are set back very far from the street, so I slept very deeply. The entire property is shaded with enormous old trees and positioned for a wonderful breeze to flow through so the heat is minimized. The A/C and hot water worked well, and the room was clean and comfortable. Mattresses seemed fairly new which is always a bonus! The staff was friendly and had all the information I needed about where to eat, how to arrange for excursions, and was always available to answer my questions. I didn’t stay in the dorm-style rooms but I popped into the washrooms to rinse my hands and they were super clean! As a former backpacker this is always a big one for me. Oh! I also used their yoga area, there are so many places to enjoy some space outside. Def recommend if you want somewhere private and calm, Arugam bay is very loud and bustling with people so this was a lovely respite from the cacophony of the tourist season.

In front of property one could see the beach. The gardens in front of the rooms are lovely,green and well maintained. Very kind owner who offers tea/ coffee regularly. Large bathroom with good water pressure.i felt very safe.

I loved this place. Was supposed to stay for 2 nights but ended up staying for 2 weeks. Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms, big breakfast and a good location. Away from all the noise but a 1 minute walk from everywhere you want to be. Will be coming back for sure!!

Babar Point is the kind of place you arrive at and immediately know you’ve found something special. Tucked away in Pottuvil, just a short walk from the surf point, this boutique hotel feels like a little slice of heaven. The design is so thoughtful — six cozy cabanas surrounded by nature, a beautiful pool, and the best mango lassis we’ve had in Sri Lanka. What truly made our stay unforgettable were the owners — a kind and welcoming Swiss couple who made us feel like part of their family. Their warmth, love, and attention to detail created an atmosphere that felt both homelike and magical. We loved being in this quieter corner of the coast, away from the busy center of Arugam Bay, where you can still surf, spot elephants by the beach (yes, really!), and reconnect with nature.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a relaxing pool. The hotel is away from loud DJ sounds, making it peaceful and perfect for rest. Highly recommended
