Amazing location on top of a river. Beautiful houses secluded and one with the nature. Extremely friendly and helpful family that will welcome you and make you feel at ease as they will take care of everything you need. Very good homemade fresh breakfast and the cutest family you will meet in Sri Lanka.

location was excellent. Loved the mountain view from the pool area. Love the food and prices were reasonable. this could be the best villa in that area. Staff was very helpful and attending quickly to all our needs.

Absolutely an amazing place to stay and an unforgettable experience in the forest. The manager Lakshan made all the effort to make sure the journey was smooth, and you feel very much welcomed by the staff. Great ambiance, nice restaurant and amazing location. we had a day trip in the forest guided by Dumindu, who was so kind and knowledgeable. All was amazing.

Everything was fabulous the breakfast was super delicious and the view of the room was stunning.

The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, helping us spot rare birds and understand the rich biodiversity of the area. After a day of trekking, the swimming pool was a refreshing treat, and the peaceful garden offered the perfect spot to unwind.

What a unique experience. I stayed in the Family Room with Garden View and I felt completely immersed in the rainforest there. It was raining when I was there and it felt really cozy. The host, Ravindra, was kind, welcoming and very helpful. He organized for an amazing female guide for me in Sinharaja, as well as transport there and to my next destination. His mother cooked delicious dinners and breakfasts, and even a packed lunch for my day trip. The pool was a great bonus - I had a much-needed fresh dip following my hike.

The lady that hosted us was really friendly and had a very nice conversation with us. She offered advice on local hikes and even gave us small gifts upon departure. The hotel is surrounded by a lot of flora and you can constantly hear the calming sound of the river.

The attention and care of the hosting family who cared for every need, and made any effort to make the stay comfortable, with a lot of kindness. Amazing breakfast was included. Great home cooked dinners by request, reasonably priced. Arranged knowledgeable, amazing guide for the rainforest hike, reasonably priced. This guesthouse is located nearby to the forest edge. That made amazing birds and wildlife be seen just from the nice garden porch or when walking the village road. However, don't expect any 'tourist scene' nearby. That village was so peaceful. Had great night sleep on the comfortable bed, protected effectively by net from bugs.

We stayed at the Glitz Marriott for one night. Our wonderful host and guide, Ananda, gave us such a memorable experience in the short time we spent there. We arrived around noon and Ananda, as our guide, gave us the most amazing 4hr tour of the rainforest which was amazing!!! After that, he prepared the most delicious dinner with many dishes. Our room was spacious and very clean. When visiting Sinharaja Rain Forest, stay at the Glitz Marriott. Ananda, thank you so much for the memories!! Lonnie

The staff were fantastic, keeping in touch constantly before, during and even after my stay and ensuring I knew what was going on. I did a night walk and morning exploration walk in the forest, both were excellent! The guides were informative, knowledgeable and always trying to make sure I got the most out of the experience. I would 100% recommend staying here to anybody. The food was also incredible, so much flavour and a good amount of options!!
