Loved this this laid-back place, just outside Sigiriya. The family helped us arrange a tuktuk in the early hours for the hike up Pidurangala Rock and recommended visiting Sigiriya Rock for sunset, which was amazing. The cottage was comfortable, the pool fantastic on these hot, sultry December days, and the wildlife amazing: monkeys, peacocks, and nearby elephants which we glimpsed in the dark. Best of all was the delicious home-cooked Sri Lankan food, and the kind and friendly family. It is a little way out of the village but this is easily accessed by tuktuk. It is Aldo nice and quiet. Highly recommended.

Central location walkable to shops, restaurants, and the main attractions. Breakfast was excellent. Danusha, the manager, was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. He provided great local recommendations and assisted me with booking transportation as well as a jeep elephant safari tour, which I highly recommend. He truly went above and beyond, even driving me to the ATM in his own vehicle one evening when I didn’t feel comfortable walking alone.

BEST PLACE IN SIGIRIYA!! Bernard, the hotel manager is one of a kind! Super attentive checking your needs helping with everything he can. Simply amazing person who truly makes you feel at home. The entire staff were sweet, professional and polite going out of their way to make sure you have the best stay. The rooms are comfortable and immaculate and the pool is perfect! The place is really nice and the owner is very welcoming. He was available and gave great insight on what activities we should do. He spotted our traveler profile and advised us accordingly. At the hotel, you can grab some bikes and there is a cool trail around the nearby lake... The room was clean, bigger than expected, and comfortable. The food was good and they bake their berad onsite etc... You can't go wrong there.

This place is just stunning. You’ll get more of what you see in the pictures. The level of service is outstanding. Consider that to reach the place you need to call them to send you a tuktuk because the roads are a bit bumpy and cars cannot reach easily. The food was amazing and generous. The bedroom tidy and with AC. The best part is they welcome you with cold towels and watermelon juice.

We loved everything about our stay, the hosts are the nicest people we’ve met in Sri Lanka, they went above and beyond to help us, they organised every visit that we wanted to do for a really fair price. Amazing accomodation and the swimmingpool is the best as it can get very hot in Sigiriya. Very good, local breakfast was served every morning. The location was perfect as well - it is possible to walk to the city centre during the day. I would definitely recommend!

Location, staff was very nice and welcoming, nice garden, good pool. Hotel restaurant provided not only breakfast, but also lunch and dinner. The hotel owner helped with organising transfer, tuk tuk and jeep safari for very good prices.

Lovely small resort with 5 cottages, restaurant and pool area. Quiet location in a jungle feeling. Very kind and helpful staff, assisting in arranging transportation or anything else you may need. Free bikes to rent. A 10 min Tuktuk ride to the “city center” will cost about 1000 Rs. Breakfast was either Sri Lankan (curry, grasshoppers, roti) or western (toast, scrambled eggs and jam).
