I stayed at this hotel some ten years ago and thought it one of the most pleasant places I had ever been. It shows its age a bit now—the bathroom could be refreshed, and there is no air conditioning—but it is still exceptional. Unlike so many places on the Baltic coast, Dierhagen is not spoiled by droves of tourists. If I had more money, I would happily spend a week or two here.

This hotel stands just behind the dunes on Graal-Müritz Beach, on the Baltic Coast. It offers rental bicycles, a sauna and local cuisine.

This family-run, pet-free, nonsmoking hotel is located in a quiet location on the outskirts of the city in the state-approved resort of Barth. It is about 8.7 mi to the Baltic Sea beach.
