We stayed here for 3 nights and it was the perfect place to explore parts of the RheinSteig hiking trail and surrounding villages. The hotel was very comfortable with an excellent breakfast. Frau Maas was a wonderful and caring host. She personally served breakfast and made sure her guests were comfortable. We would definitely come back here.

Steig-Alm Hotel Superior has a fitness center, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Bad Marienberg. Each room at the 3-star hotel has garden views, and guests can enjoy access to a spa center.

Great staff, great (Austrian-like) atmosphere, great beds, great shower. Very clean! 2 spots for charging an electric car (we paid €35 to charge our almost empty car). Really nice restaurant as well with an awesome streak & jummy shrimp (& Alte Birne schnapps)! Breskfast buffet was very complete & fresh. Too bad I didn’t get around to using the sauna and no time to explore the area.
