Everything! Especially the wonderful owners, Candela and JuanJo. Anyone who is looking for a place to stay that is out in the country (getting there does require driving on narrow roads) should stay at this place. This is one of our all-time favorite places to stay. Breakfasts (included) are excellent and generous, with very good café con leche. Dinner ("la cena," optional and served by reservation at a reasonable price) is even better. If you are a hiker or nature lover, the Geoparque Villuercas Ibores Jara is stunningly beautiful.

In Extremadura’s rural Vera region, Hosteria Fontivieja has a seasonal outdoor pool surrounded by gardens and trees. It offers a small gym and sauna, tour desk and free Wi-Fi zone.
