This place was the most luxurious I stayed during my time in Japan. Just so professional. Super clean, friendly and even a private onsen for customers to use inside (most days I went there was no one there so it felt very private). Excellent location. Movie nights on Mondays! Walk away from the botanic gardens, right beside the train station. I just had the most wonderful stay here.

The innkeeper is the best. He’s caring and attentive. The room had plenty of space and the inn has it’s own onsen.

Staff were very accommodating. Kaiseki dinners were great, with the kitchen staff explaining everything perfectly. Onsens (both private and public) were great, with complimentary refreshments being a great bonus (coffee milk, yakult, ice cream). Massages were incredibly rejuvenating, and easily booked via the front-desk. Shuttle bus from the ryokan to the station was incredibly convenient.

it was so cozy. We were snowed in and couldn't do too much outside. The view is amazing even when it's snowing or raining. Being able to stare at Mt Fuji when it's clear is a highlight. Looked out the window for hours! The house was very clean and the hot tub and sauna were an added bonus. The host was easy to contact if we needed anything. Loved the trail nearby it was a nice scenic and safe route to the lake.
