ArtNEST is more than just a hotel, as you'll be staying in a space that's filled with art and lots of character. The common spaces serve as a cafe/art studio/gallery and are filled with paintings, prints and books. If you like surrounding yourself with colorful art inspiration, this is the place for you! The rooms are simple but clean, comfy (including a duvet as bedding, which is rare in Sri Lanka) and very thoughtfully decorated. Sandeepa is a lovely host - he showed us around the fort, shared pictures he took during the tour he gave, and was always quick with replying to any questions I had. And Yunee was a delight to be around, too - she was always smiling and very sweet.

When we opened the door, it was a big wow. It felt as if we had stepped into a place you normally only see in your dreams. My family and I love to be surrounded by beauty. One of my daughters is an interior designer for hotels all over the world, and even she was completely speechless. The photos on Booking.com do not capture the true beauty of this place. Every detail is perfect. Normally, when our family checks in somewhere, we immediately go out to explore the surroundings. But after arriving at Olinda, we stayed the entire day. We played in the pool together, relaxed, lounged, and simply enjoyed being with each other in a place that gives you such a wonderful feeling. The food and drinks were, of course, of the same excellent quality. After a perfect night’s sleep in one of the four rooms we had booked, we decided to take a tuk-tuk tour. It was a joyful experience. Galle is a beautiful historic place, and the ancient Buddhist rock temple is truly worth visiting a very old, pure, and peaceful place. We celebrated New Year’s Eve in Galle and had a lovely time. Leaving Olinda was hard. We truly felt at home, wrapped in warmth created by the wonderful crew. They are present with open hearts and that is exactly what you feel in this house. We are very gratefull to be here on our Sri Lanka tour

amazing location, off the main road and on a quiet street but right across from the beach and all of the restaurants. very peaceful garden area and amazing staff. the manager even took me to the hospital when i was very sick at 3 am

Lovely place! The pool was the cleanest we experienced in Sri Lanka, the location is great, and the host is incredibly friendly.

This property was a 10/10 from every perspective. Beautiful big updated clean rooms, daily cleaning services, amazing plentiful breakfast, amazing host, excelent location, quiet…there’s nothing bad I can say about this place. And I am a bit picky ;) This was the best place we’ve had during our 1 month long travels across Sri Lanka.
