We booked this at the very last minute while driving through town during the off season. We had a lovely stay. The room was spacious and clean. The decor was very comfortable. We had a nice view of the country. It was quiet. The bed was comfortable. Checkout was easy. And there was plenty of parking on site.

WOW! What an unexpected delight. We enjoyed Zagreb and Ljubljana but needed a break from the big cities. So, we headed towards the hill towns of Istria and found ourselves in Golac for the night. Nada, Marta, and Eric were exceptional hosts. Nada made a lovely home cooked dinner, goulash gnocchi. Eric guided us to country walks after the meal. And Marta gave us pointers for our future travels in Slovenia and Croatia. We really enjoyed out stay and hope to come back for an extended stay.

Patrick is a great guy and works hard to make sure his guests are well taken care of. I have stayed here 4 or 5 times while traveling through this part of Slovenia and I am always happy I stayed here. Good value, clean rooms, great breakfast and don't miss the Pistachio crosaint!

Our stay began as great as it has ended with a warm and friendly talk with the hosts. Since our gps sent us through some bumpy streets, we unfortunately delayed a lot and arrived much later than planned. But we were welcomed with nice words, a big smile, selfmade liqueur and many tips on how two spend our time here. A great first impression! The house is beautifully furnished with lots of wood and stone elements - very pretty and comfortable. The garden is well maintained and there is a BBQ place and some swings and a slide for children. A great place for families and couples to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. We were so happy, that we booked our next stay, while being there. Highly recommend :)
