The house was lovely, cozy, and felt very welcoming. Even though the weather limited how much we could explore the island, the location was great for walking to nearby food and coffee, and we enjoyed taking a quick hike around town. It was a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of Suðuroy.

The house was really nice, even though the ceilings were low (but we were warned about this beforehand) and my partner bumped his head a couple of times we would highly recommend the "Charming old style shanty"! Plenty of room to enjoy a day in if the weather isn't nice (which in our case luckily wasn't too much of a problem), and when you come back from a hike, it's great to enjoy a cup of tea on the patio and enjoy the view! The location is great, we had no problems reaching it by public transport. A little store is within walking distance, despite its size, the store offers a lot of groceries. So all in all, travel to Suðuroy and enjoy Hvalba in this great house!
