The staff, the location, the facilities, the cleaning, the food and the swimming pool - it was all great !! Exceeded our expectations and was truly fantastic

Laki was the best besttttt host we could ever ask for. We had a friend’s bridal shower at her place and she went above and beyond to help us with all the vendors and the party. We had a great experience and her property is absolutely stunning! just like out of pinterest! I’m so so glad we found laki! I’ll always look back and cherish this stay :’)

Our stay at the villa in Ahangama was truly unforgettable. The villa was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared with attention to every detail. We were especially impressed that they came early in the morning to prepare breakfast for us at the house. It was such a kind and special gesture. We truly felt at home throughout our stay. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality, kindness, and attentiveness. We highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Ahangama and would definitely love to come back again.

The house is a five minute walk to the beach, tucked away in a nice quiet area. Additionally, the host is one of the kindest men you can hope to meet! The rain shower was great for rinsing off after spending time in the ocean.

A Charming Colonial Stay with Modern Comforts This restored colonial property offers an authentic and charming atmosphere with a perfect blend of history and modern comforts such as multi-plug adapters, both bed and overhead lighting and mosquito nets. The rooms are quiet and feature comfortable beds and newly renovated bathrooms—even better than what’s shown in the current photos on Booking. The WiFi was reliable in my room, allowing me to work and stream video without any issues. The outdoor seating areas are lovely, providing a peaceful space to relax. A highlight of my stay was the incredible Sri Lankan-style omelette—the best I’ve had in over two weeks of traveling here! Beyond the setting, the staff were exceptionally warm, kind, and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I was genuinely sad to leave and would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

Staff were fantastic! The location was everything we wanted: a beautiful pool and beach a few steps away! Our room was really spacious, clean and comfortable and had a great view of the pool and beach - as do all the rooms. The food was incredible. So wonderful in fact, that we dined at the hotel every evening, as well as enjoying the fantastic breakfast options each morning.

Our stay at Ishq Talpe was simply amazing. The villa is even more beautiful than in the photos, with stunning sea views and an elegant, spotless interior. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help, which made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and the perfect start to each day. Everything exceeded our expectations, a true paradise by the ocean. Highly recommended.

New architectural marvel in a serene and private setting at the edge of a tropical jungle with the infinity pool overlooking an expansive natural paddy. The experience at Villa Samas was life changing for us not only due to the setting but mostly thanks to the sincerely gracious and kind hospitality of our exceptional host who lives on the ground level. The best of Sri Lankan family culture is generously offered here combined with an impeccable attention to detail and service. Sparkling clean inside and out. Location was close and convenient yet felt far away. Fully equipped kitchen allowing for home cooked meals or there are plenty of takeaway/delivery food options nearby. The delicious and generous breakfast is prepared downstairs and then lovingly served in your private kitchen with stunning jungle views-do not miss this experience! Also many excellent western style gourmet restaurants only 20 minutes drive to Galle Fort. AC works perfectly in both bedrooms each with its own terrace and nice views. Abundant tropical wildlife on display daily including wild peacocks, monkeys, parrots and birds of every description.

Extremely value for money! Dilip was responsive, flexible with check-in/ check-out/ payment times, and helpful when I was looking for transportation around Ahangama. The location just off the center of Ahangama, and is right above a grocery store. Room was one of the cleanest I've seen after staying in 5 other places around Sri Lanka. Strong wifi, AC, hot water, kitchenette, clean sheets - all provided.

The room was really comfortable and spacious. The owners were super kind and the breakfast each day was delicious!

I booked here as I wanted to see the lovely boho interior and cute decor. The room was as cool as I see on the photos. The host was very welcoming, always smiling, he is always there for us accommodating us. Breakfast was tasty every time freshly made by locals. Just 10 min to walk to the beach, rental bikes are available too. (2000 / day) It was great place to stay. I even extended one night.

Everything was a 10/10. The lake views are simply indescribable, calm, expansive, and deeply soothing. The entire place feels incredibly peaceful, a true escape from noise and rush. One of the most magical moments was sitting in the outdoor hot bathtub at night, surrounded by silence, watching the stars above the lake. 2 minutes walking to the beach.

The garden was beautiful with plenty of space, and the villa was much bigger than the listing suggests. There were three spacious bedrooms, all with air conditioning, and a well-equipped kitchen. The villa was clean, comfortable, and the family who own it were very kind and nearby at all times if we needed anything.
