Villas in Galle

I stayed two days at Villa Ema. It was a wonderful time. The Service provided by the staff was commendable. The property is spacious, clean and calm.

This was the best villa and stays in our 10 day SL journey. The villa is beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery. The rooms are very big with lot of extra beds and bunk beds and can fit in a big group easily. Kitchen is fully functional with all electronics (microwave, coffee maker, toaster, mixer), 4 stove gas and enough crockery and utensils. Pool is the best place of the villa with open green views and unlike other properties it's more than a plunge pool with sufficient depth for swimming. Isuru, the host was very warm and sweet. He took care of us very well. We had one email at the property and food was absolutely delicious. Would love to come back and recommend this property to everyone!

What an amazing hotel, can't recommend it enough. We liked it so much that we extended one more night. Staff is amazing, very helpful with any demand you have. Breakfast was amazing as well, they go out of their way to fulfill your requests. Definitely best hotel we stayed in Sri Lanka.

New architectural marvel in a serene and private setting at the edge of a tropical jungle with the infinity pool overlooking an expansive natural paddy. The experience at Villa Samas was life changing for us not only due to the setting but mostly thanks to the sincerely gracious and kind hospitality of our exceptional host who lives on the ground level. The best of Sri Lankan family culture is generously offered here combined with an impeccable attention to detail and service. Sparkling clean inside and out. Location was close and convenient yet felt far away. Fully equipped kitchen allowing for home cooked meals or there are plenty of takeaway/delivery food options nearby. The delicious and generous breakfast is prepared downstairs and then lovingly served in your private kitchen with stunning jungle views-do not miss this experience! Also many excellent western style gourmet restaurants only 20 minutes drive to Galle Fort. AC works perfectly in both bedrooms each with its own terrace and nice views. Abundant tropical wildlife on display daily including wild peacocks, monkeys, parrots and birds of every description.

The location was perfect. I loved that it was nestled away out of town but still a short walk into central unawatuna and jungle beach. We loved the peaceful, tranquil nature of the place. The villas are spacious and clean with everything you need. The infinity pool is amazing and local wildlife is easy to spot from the pool and villa. The price point is excellent and Gayan is happy to assist with anything you need. We used a local tuk tuk driver Isanka to get us around when we didn’t want to walk. He gave us great rates and even organized our trip to the airport. Things to do! Highly recommend jungle beach, swimming with turtles at wijaya beach, turtle hatching release at unawatuna and also Wasantha’s cooking school just down the road. You will enjoy your stay here.

The owner who was friendly and very welcoming. I went to Galle for a half marathon and didn't have clear check in and check out times ,but the owner made it much easier to work with this issue.

Very clean and comfortable. Spacious bed and hot water in the bathroom were an added bonus. The host was very helpful. He welcomed us and everything was ready to go. Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood. Well worth the price as it was a brand-new property. So, everything was new. Highly recommend this property and the host. We will be back very soon. Highly recommended!! My wife and I stayed here in June and had a wonderful experience. Host was friendly and communicative. We were able to park at the property with ease. Had everything we needed including fresh towels, toiletries, and wifi. Room and bathroom including toilet and shower were all very clean and tidy. We especially appreciated the private entrance, as we had the whole place just to ourselves! Getting around Galle was a breeze from this location and we were able to visit the beach and Galle Fort with plenty of great food options nearby.

Beautiful villa. Great house staff. Fantastic location. Only slightly down side is that there is a lot of street noise as it’s close to a road. That didn’t bother us too much and i would definitely stay here again.

Was like living in your own villa, with butler and cook! We had a lovely dinner on first night. Owner and staff were super responsive and generous. Location was perfect, right in middle of fort.

This is a hidden gem of a place. You may be tempted to stay in galle fort but this place is a reason not to. The decor of the room is second to none with a comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. It is only a 15-min walk to the fort area. We particularly enjoyed having access to kitchen facilities and the pool are for a reasonable place. They could do our laundry on site and had a bike for rental to explore surrounding areas. Definitely worth staying out of fort area!

It is very comfortable, quiet, cute, and cozy place. The two bedroom apartment upstairs of a historical home. Have a kitchen with the fridge, stove, tea kettle, and dining room as well. I booked the biggest room with an upstairs nook. Nice bathroom with plenty of hot water. Beautiful porch overlooking the sea and light house. Everything is very clean. The bed is very comfortable. The location is just amazing. The owners are very sweet and attentive. They always came and asked me if I needed anything. It is safe as well as you get the keys for the front door and for the room as well. Owners are nearby and always available. They also have a juice shop where you can get tea, coffee, water and juices. I really enjoyed my stay here.

I had a wonderful stay at Bird Villa Galle with my son. The place is superb—very calm and quiet, which made it perfect for a relaxing stay. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It also has easy access to nearby facilities and attractions. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to stay in Galle.
