We found this modern and impeccably maintained villa very homely and comfortable. Although we stayed only one night, we think this would be a perfect place for a longer family vacation. We loved the design of the villa with sea views, and the plunge pool was perfect to unwind after a day at the beach. Pehembiya beach that's a minute or two away is stunning, clean, calm enough to swim, surrounded by schools of fish, seabirds etc. There are also some wonderful restaurants close by, including the legendary Smoke and Bitters, that's a few minutes walk down the road

The owner made sure we were really well taken care of from the moment we arrived, he even prepared a fantastic Sri Lankan breakfast for us on arrival. The property itself is really well laid out and brand new. Its an ideal little holiday villa with three rooms and a little kitchen. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay! The host was very helpful and always available when needed. The villa is in a very calm and peaceful location, with only the sound of birds around especially beautiful lake where there are lots of birds. It’s also just a few minutes to the very famous Silent Beach, which was perfect. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay, would highly recommend to anyone! The family is very kind and welcoming, always available when needed. They even brought us to the main road on our day of departure so we could catch the bus to our next destination, which we really appreciated. The apartment is very clean and new, with its own private entrance and a small terrace outside. The hot shower worked perfectly and everything felt fresh and comfortable. The location is great; only a 3–5 minute walk (ask the owner for the shortcut :-) ) to a beautiful, quiet local beach, where you can find many very good local restaurants. A highlight is the stunning view over the lagoon, especially during sunset. The food was excellent as well. The local-style breakfast was the biggest one we received in Sri Lanka :-) and the fresh juices and alcohol free fruit mojitos that they sell at their very nice restaurant were absolutely delicious too. A great place to stay if you are looking for comfort, cleanliness, good food, and genuine hospitality. Would definitely come back!
