Villas in San Agustinillo

We quickly became friends with our host, Leonel, who built the house himself using traditional materials and methods. He found us fresh-caught fish during a busy week and also offered us his special ceviche (he used to own a restaurant in town). He graciously went out of his way to help us with things we needed and we spent a great Christmas week together.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The villa was beautiful, and you can't beat a private infinity pool. The kitchen supplies were fully stocked, as well as drinkable water. The caretaker, Sebastian, was wonderful with maintaining the pool and answering any questions I had. The location of the villa is a perfect distance between Zipolite and Mazunte, with lots of smaller beaches in between. The beds were comfy, with A/C in all three bedrooms. The hammock on the top floor overlooking the ocean was a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again!

Incredible views and a quiet location. Everything was perfect

Really central, espectacular view from the living room, really nice layout. Be aware it’s in the nature, I had a visitor, but the poor tarantula was more scared then me. I could easily helped her out.

The location is prime. It’s convenient to walk to all the best shops and restaurants in Mazunte and two beaches while being in a quiet and safe area. There is even a convenience store just down the hill on the way to town. The owner was ultra-responsive to our questions and needs. The king bed is super comfortable with high quality pillows and linens. There is good lighting and great shower pressure with hot water. The refrigerator and hot water kettle were a plus. The layout is spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage for organizing your things, double sinks, two bar chairs and a bench for sitting, and a drying rack. The fan and mini-split a/c kept the place perfectly cool and dry. You will love the shade and cool breeze on the balcony, and the double ocean views from the private rooftop terrace and pool are impressive.

Loved everything about this property. The communication was great from the start and they were very patient with my arrival. The location is great as it’s close to everything you could need. The room was nice and very comfortable and with a traditional Mexican breakfast you just can’t beat it. Where they really shine is in their customer service. Mayra was such a joy to talk to in the morning and she made me an outstanding breakfast and cafe de olla. And although she did try to make sure that I hadn’t left anything behind, I sure enough did lol. Losing a CC or Debit Card is always stressful but Mayra and the crew took great care of my cards and had them sent to me in Puerto the very next day. I can’t recommend this place enough! Such a great stay. This will be my go to spot anytime I’m back in Zipolite

Absolutely terrible experience—avoid this property. We had to leave two days into our stay because it was not safe for our family. My kids broke out in a rash after using the pool, and the pool itself is in poor condition with broken tiles—my daughter even cut her knee. The issues didn’t stop there: • The stove didn’t work • Ants were all over the kitchen • We found a scorpion inside a kitchen cabinet • Spiders throughout the house • No deadbolts on the doors • Exposed wiring and outlets hanging out of the walls These are serious safety and sanitation concerns. When I reported everything to the property manager, they sent me a repairman’s number—as if it was my responsibility to fix their property while on vacation. I made it clear that was unacceptable. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a rental. It completely ruined our family vacation. Do yourself a favor—run.

The views are spectacular the privacy exceptional It is beautiful place to stay

This loft is incredible! The hosts, and particularly Israel, were extremely responsive and attentive. The space is modern and beautifully simple, with everything I needed. It's a few minute walk down a very steep path to Playa del Muerte where I was typically the only person on the beautiful pristine beach, and is a tranquil 20 minute walk down the dirt road to La Boquilla beach. It was quite quiet and secluded, making it a perfect stay for a few days of peace and relaxation.
