Villas in Biscoitos

The aesthetic and the design of the place is very simple yet very elegant. The host was welcoming and recommended a good places to see around the island and treat us with good breakfast. There's also a nice swimming pool to chill at when you dont feel like driving around.

The location was peaceful the size of the house was a pleasant surprise

Our stay at Retiro dos Biscoitos was so peaceful. The town of Biscoitos is the perfect location to travel throughout the island. We found that all the major sightseeing locations and the start of the island’s best hiking trails are easy to access by rental car. You can stay outside of the traffic of bigger cities like Angra and Praia while still being connected to everything the island has to offer. There are two grocery stores in walking distance of the house and an excellent bakery as well that we visited several times during our stay. The host was warm and left us local wine and bread for check-in, as well as marmalade made with their own oranges. The laundry machine and backyard was also great to have. Nearby houses have fruit trees, chickens, and dogs that were fun to watch. If you are looking for an authentic and high-quality stay on Terceira Island, this is a great place to stay.

Perfect location, lovely views, lovely balcony

Sandra, the hostess is very friendly and helpful! She told us all about the local events taking place, which we enjoyed thoroughly, esp the bull run! The house is immaculate, and one of the most comfortable we have stayed in. It was very easy to make meals, do laundry, swim at the walkable ocean pool and all with an ocean view! The shower is great, and the beds are comfortable with nice sheets. We couldn't have asked for more. Sandra even gave us fresh eggs from her chickens! We HIGHLY recommend staying with Sandra while on this beautiful island. Thank you!

Easy access, great location for visiting Angra, hiking, caves and bathing sites. Great appliances, kitchen well supplied with dishes, clothesline and deck chairs. Nearby pastry and meat shops, fresh vegetables at beach shops.

Beautiful location, clean everything

Super friendly and helpful host, clean and well maintained house with personal touch and pieces of family history. Our stay was short but we enjoyed it a lot!

This former grain mill turned unique lodging is a real treat. The clever design and architecture comfortably squeezes a double bed and kitchen and bathroom into the tiniest footprint imaginable. The innkeepers masterfully repurposed this ancient stone circular mill into a fantasy overnight one will never forget.

Very modern and new, location is great, very comfortable beds.
