An oasis in a tourist destination. The small town is quiet but near enough to the main tourist attractions to make it fabulous!

This area and especially this place to stay is like a dream vacation. Hosts were so nice The house felt like it was something built and managed by someone who loves doing it It didnt come off as they were running a business They literally were extending their family to yours

The set up of the home was great for 2 couples. The hosts were attentive and welcoming. The views of the river from the front yard were amazing

It was a wonderful spacious place to explore the Douro valley from. Although the pool was closed for winter it looked like a great place to stay in the summer. The views are great and it's just a really nice place to decompress. It had a good size kitchen with all the utensils and equipment that you would need for a comfortable stay. The heaters worked well to keep us toasty. The views from the windows, balcony and porch were stellar and made for some really good photos. Boasting a nice blend of modern convenience and old world charm, it's a quintessential Portuguese house.

The host was amazing - apparently she is the owner's sister. Unfortunately we didn't speak Portuguese and she didn't speak English so we used google translate a lot! Charming town of 200 people who were very accommodating - especially our first nite preparing food just for us - I don't believe they were fully open yet . The apartment was spacious and clean with interesting decor. Had both washer and dryer which is unusual for Europe. Was too cold for the pool but we sat outside a lot. Stunning views of the surrounding area

We had a wonderful stay at your location and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. Everything was spotless and is one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed in. Every room was immaculately maintained, the linens and towels were fresh and high-quality, and the kitchen and bathrooms were sparkling, clean and stocked with thoughtful essentials. The space itself was comfortable, beautifully decorated and exactly as described in the listing. It felt both calm and welcoming with attention to detail that made it easy to relax immediately. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we had enough pillows for our comfort. The Wi-Fi worked well and the entire apartment was quiet and peaceful. We especially appreciated the hospitality, and communication check-in with clear instructions and the contact was responsive, friendly, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. The small touches throughout the day made it feel much more personal than a typical stay. The location was also fantastic, convenient for exploring while still feeling calm and authentic overall. The property was great! We had the best view ever!!! It was easy to get around to the wineries and the apartment was very comfortable and super clean!

The home is situated on a beautiful view hillside surrounded by grapevines. We were there for 3 nights. It is a family run agrotourismo, and they could not have been more welcoming. The house itself was spotlessly clean. Jorge welcomed us and showed us the property. We had the whole house to ourselves, with a complete kitchen. We decided to have our dinners at the Quinta, which was a good choice as the roads are curvy for our American driving style. We brought our own charcuterie one night, and another night we were able to have our dinner prepared by the Quinta owners. It was a delicious Portuguese meal from appetizers through fish and vegetables, steak and potatoes, desserts and wine. Amazing. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and walking the 2 mile rural lane with views all around. This is a special place, and we thank the family for sharing it with us!
