The breakfast was AMAZING! The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the owner is just as nice. There are some good restaurants (Thai and American style brew-pub) within walking distance.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, very nice staff.

The room was really good, clean with all facilities. You can see the beautiful Doi Chiang Dao right by your back porch. Breakfast is served in your room. Overall very impressive. I would love to come back here again if I can.

Just as described! You get the entire space to yourself - no shared areas with other guests. This is a standalone traditional Lanna house, set right next to a lush lawn. Step out your door and you’re face-to-face with open green fields, buffaloes grazing, a few geese wandering about, and a stunning mountain backdrop. It’s genuinely immersive and serene. Inside, the house has everything you need: microwave, toaster, kettle, cups, coffee, and drinking water - all thoughtfully provided. The location is convenient too - within walking distance to the town center and plenty of nearby restaurants. If you want to explore further, the host offers motorbike rentals at a fair price. The host doesn’t live on-site, but he's only two minutes away and checks in daily to tidy up, refill water, and make sure everything’s running smoothly. He’s warm, responsive, and genuinely welcoming. As for the “downside” - being this close to nature in a wooden house does come with a few ants and the occasional bird dropping around the property. But honestly, it’s completely acceptable, especially for the Chiang Dao mountain area. If that bothers you, you’re probably better off booking a standard hotel. But if you're after charm, space, and a real connection to the landscape, this place is hard to beat. Would absolutely stay again.

This was my 2nd visit to the hotel, and the place is outstanding. Chiang Dao is, in my opinion, the prettiest town in northern Thailand. And this hotel offers lovely views of the mountain, there’s birds flying all around, you can star gaze from the patio at night. Also, the owner was very helpful in giving me local tips in the area. 100% I’ll be coming back here to visit one day.

Great little spot in old town.

Great place with mountain view, quiet, nice cozy clean rooms. The owners were incredible, very kind and helpful, gave us local recommendations and even offered to prepare a lunch and dinner with local specialties for the 4 of us. We agreed and got an incredibly delicious and memorable meal 😊 Thank you so much, we would come back any time!
