Despite being situated in the midst of the bustling area of Calangute, the hotel itself offers an oasis of calm, luxury and comfort. The staff are super friendly and efficient, the food is varied and excellent. The breakfast has a massive spread and one will really be spoilt for choice. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms as well as the property itself is spotless. Kudos to the staff throughout the property for making this a really memorable holiday for us.

Our room was fabulous, location excellent for walking to the beaches and many nearby shops and restaurants. We only ate at the hotel ou food was beyond excellent. They specifically ordered us 2 pomfet fish and prepared them exactly to our taste to perfection. The staff welcomed us and interacted with us making us laugh daily!! Wow we totally enjoyed our stay.... actually now we're in Jaipur missing and still laughing about the awesome guys at the Meritas Auberge hotel Calangute. We highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Goa. The beach was beautiful and we felt comfortable wearing our bathing suits.We have never had so much fun interacting with such a fun bunch of good humans!! We genuinely really enjoyed our stay. It was only one night as we messed up our booking elsewhere but had we not already booked elsewhere we would definitely had stayed. Lovely big rooms, very good a.c. and lovely manager/staff and a very reasonable price. Also a short walk to the beach and surrounded by shops and restaurants and bars but still nice and quiet on a night. It's probably the first time in a long time where the room is actually better than the pictures

2nd time staying. Lovely clean hotel with a very comfortable king-size bed. Separate dressing room with wardrobe and drawers for clothes plus a fan and clothes dry rack. Small fridge. Fresh purified jugs of water plus 2 bottled water left each day. A fabulous swimming pool. Stayed B & B. Lovely choices of food for breakfast and other meals taken also proved delicious. All members of staff at the hotel were very kind & helpful, and always with a smile. Will definitely stay again.

Review for Meritas Grand Inn, Calangute – Goa I had initially booked this property when it was earlier known as Calux Grand Inn. After going through the old reviews, I was hesitant and even considered cancelling my reservation. However, after learning that the hotel has now been taken over and managed by Meritas Hotels & Resorts, I decided to give it a chance—and I’m glad I did. A special thanks to Ms. Teresa, who was extremely kind and transparent in explaining the changes under the new management. Everything she committed to was delivered without compromise. Subid deserves a mention too—he is very active in ensuring the property is spotless, and overall the staff here are courteous, helpful, and genuinely eager to serve. The property is centrally located in Calangute, making it convenient to explore the beaches, markets, and nearby attractions. The experience feels upgraded and far better than what the older reviews reflect. I can confidently say that the management transition has made a remarkable difference, and I would recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to North Goa.

Awesome resort, beautifully located at the calangut main road just 5 min walk to beach, delicious buffet breakfast with so many option same as 5 star resort front desk staff was very helpful, they arrange all my travel and sightseeing at very affordable cost.
