I loved the convenience of the place , cleanness and the staff .. it feels like you’re getting away home .. definitely will consider it a very special place to visit again

It was very nicely decorated and quiet. A pretty good value for the price. Heard the Sunday carvery was good, but it was fully booked. Two bathrooms were a nice bonus that was not detailed in the description.

Absolutely everything was first class, couldn't fault a thing! Hosts were great with communication and didn't leave anything out. Immaculately clean, comfortable beds and lovely soft towels. Lots of little extra touches that made all the difference from fridge essentials and tea/coffee down to the little welcome hamper and card 😊 can't wait to stay again!

PERSONAL service is the key to my stay here, in a rather quaint and characterful hotel full of charm. You don't get a bland white box for a room, you get an odd-shaped room with where everything is there but perhaps not how you expect it. The shower took ages to pump hot water through, but once the water was hot, there was one of the longest baths I've ever seen, and the shower over it worked well. I got tea-making facilities. My bed was a bit bouncy, but it didn't stop me sleeping like a log, and waking refreshed. It is likely that every room here is different from the next, and some may not have private facilities, but mine gave me everything I wanted. Breakfast was 'full English' (even in Scotland), and the personal service I mentioned adapted this to my vegetarian requirements, and everything was fresh cooked to order. There is free car parking, but it was tricky for me to find, but I found a little square behind the hotel with parking.

Good sized room and bathroom. The breakfast left in the room was excellent. In room refrigerator kept it fresh. This is a wonderful choice for anyone. Right in town, so services were all available.

Superb and extremely friendly hosts who made you feel at home . Definitely will be returning. Superb house and a breakfast second to none . Exceptional value for money

The overall experience at Allerton was fantastic! Staff were welcoming and warm and made the stay well worth it.

I booked this for my wife,she loved it, especially the little extras,a chair in the bedroom,hot chocolate,small things that make a difference. She thought the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and people were very friendly

The location was great. We were there for the jedburgh festival and had a wonderful overview of the parades.

Absolutely beautiful property and a lot bigger than we realised when booking. Lovely old building and the rooms had lots of natural light. Comfortable beds and lots of bathrooms available. Well equipped kitchen including washer and dryer and a thoughtful welcome basket on arrival. Central in the town (but not noisy) and lots to do in the immediate area. Thanks for such a wonderful stay. Would thoroughly recommend.

The apartment was perfect for a family. There is a flight of stairs leading up from the High Street, cute shops, a fresh butcher, and a co-op around the corner. The kitchen had everything we needed . Easy parking. Nice people in the town. Historical sites to visit.
