The rooms are spotlessly clean thanks to the wonderful attention to detail by Maria from Ukraine — thank you, Maria! The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast selection was amazing — so many delicious options for every taste. Omg it was like coming HOME!! There as a cozy fire in the fireplace as soon as I walked in with the warmest Welcome!!I even got a beer from next door and brought it back to sit in front of the fire to relax. Susan was Amazing and so accommodating and I felt like I was so well taken care of. The room was so clean. The bed was so comfortable. I slept so sound the next two nights!! she had a wonderful porridge breakfast already for me in the morning, and she even packed me a little extra wonderful bread for my day of Hiking. She made me feel like family there. It was the best feeling and I would go back and stay there again.!!! 😊 thank you so much🫶🙏🤩

Teresa is an amazing host & is very welcoming & very helpful. We had a fab stay & her breakfast & homemade brown bread was so delicious. Also the views of the island were spectacular. Also, the Amethyst bar & restaurant is amazing for dinner & Guinness !!

Everything about our stay at Sona Baile was class! Jake was so lovely when we arrived explaining all the details of the property and we immediately felt at home. The room was extremely clean and the shared kitchen/ lounge area downstairs had the most spectacular view of the sea for our morning coffee! Highly recommend staying here if you are in Achill, 11/10!!

Absolutely stunning views from our bedroom. Dooagh Bay, Dooagh village, sea and hills. The breakfast was good. Plenty of parking. The owner, Teresa, was lovely. She genuinely cared for her guests in a warm manner. As previously experienced on holidays to this Island, Achill folk are very welcoming and kind.
